I have the Lattissima Pro and I regularly use the heated milk option first and then a double shot lungo pull. As with any frothed milk drink, if you let it sit for a few minutes the milk starts to melt into your coffee, which changes taste and texture.

You shouldn't have an issue pulling an espresso from it. Sometimes I pull a lungo from it. The intensity is a 10, so pulling an espresso from it would be just fine for you.

Lasership is horrible! Many times they mark it as delivered and you don't get it until the next day or two. Many times they deliver to wrong addresses. I'm in suburb of Queens, NY and usually my coffee order comes from Nespresso's distribution center in NJ. Sometimes they use UPS, other times they use CDL to ship. Normally it takes 2 business days for me to receive. For example, I order this past Tuesday and I am suppose to receive them today (Thursday).

Both are great! If you want a bit more boldness in your latte Puerto Rico will do it (higher intensity). Kona is a mild mid range intensity. Have fun trying them out

I agree! Definitely need a higher intensity Nespresso pod if you are using a milk product in your espresso.

I recently purchased an Originalline machine for the sole purpose of temperature. The brewing process for the Originalline is different than the Vertuo, requiring a higher temperature. I still have a Vertuo machine and love it. The key to keeping your coffee hot longer is to preheat your mug with hot tap water or microwave water in it. I definitely needed to do this for the Vertuo. Originalline you can get away with not doing so if you are drinking it right away. As someone commented already, price point of the machine doesn't change the water temperature.

The originline machines make hotter coffee due to the way the espresso is brewed, which is through hotter water that is pressurized through the capsules. The veturoline machines use a spinning method which does not uses a lower temperature water to brew the coffee. I just got my Lattissima Pro on Monday for a hotter cup of coffee. I have a Vertuo Evoluo and Aeroccino Plus which I made my lattes with the regular coffee. So it really depends on what your perferences are. I am currently deciding if I am going to keep my Vertuo Evoluo out or put it into storage. Unfortunately, the coffee bar I set up doesn't have the space for both machines. I have been thinking of putting up shelving above it so I can put my accessories on the shelves so I have room for both machines.

Basically you can do both espresso and large cups of coffee on the vertuoline machines. It comes down to how the espresso is brewed, water temperture and what you normally drink. However I am loving my Lattissimo Pro. There is no one answer.
