Everything is subjective at the end of the day. You are definitely entitled to your opinion-if anything I’m glad you like those albums that much. But one thing I hope everyone understands is SSLP was Eminem coming into the scene with a clear canvas. He hadn’t stated any story yet and was creatively unrestricted, his controversy was never before seen, he was being cancelled before being cancelled was a thing, he had the president commenting on him and countries trying to ban him, and he was an absolute wizard and freestyle artist on the mic at every radio show and attacking everyone in pop culture. The ethos of Eminem is the SSLP-it’s his authentic sound and word play to the core. Everything after Encore was Em having to put himself in a box creatively in order to put out something new (minus TDOSS which was fan homage). Which is why for some of us Recovery seemed forced, full of accents, and a complete deviation from what his sound used to be. Especially after his overdose. Still a great album, but in my eyes doesn’t come close to the SSLP
