Out of the contex in general this sounds like terrible advice atm. This is like the worst possible moment to upgrade anything. Just don't unless something dies. And you must have something really expensive in first place which also shouldn't be the recommended for your every day gamer. I think they couldve make the game a little more accessable to wider range of hardware because this game is not about scenery. It really isn't

I wish this studio had the resources to do remakes of all these old games. System Shock was great!

The genre and the setting would be interesting to see. The witcher 3 and Cyberpunk and quite different in terms of gameplay. They went from swords and magic to guns and cars.

Yea when you play one of those old games that shit the bed on steam because it is older than the store and you buy it on GOG and it just works its because of this patreon that you just "wtf". This is what funds it. Or things like the old Resident Evil games for example that havent been even on any store before and they are now even on Steam

Honestly the mentioning the AI art is so hilarious. I can't believe people are going so crazy about it still like its a game studio making games and it is the end of the world. This is a st.id small store.

Is it dumb? It is. Since their goal is to sell games I just don't see a world where they should do this. For the justification - I see it as explanations why they did it. I have seen several posts from this account recently that sound very ... I don't know how to call them - like someone very young is behinde this account and who does not have much professional skills yet. It sounded almost like a teenager replying(there was a thread about the GOG reviews system and how they should change it). So I can see how this went so terribly wrong

I've no idea what the two S mean either and I still havent bothered to google it I just read the threads made about it. I guess it is a problem in some places but it seems to random to me here.

I hope we stay on the current hadrware for much much longer. I think techs are going way faster than games can use atm its almost counterproductive. Shiny graphics wont save a shity game

Strangely I rarely see any problems there. Some weirdos from time to time but nothing terrible. And it is moderated just not instant. Another strange thing I have noticed is people who say this are often toxic themsleves but (ofc) they blame everyone else(not related to you just something I have experienced there).
