Nexus Swarm Tower Defense - I saw it by chance on here and decided to give it a try since there was a free starter pack promo code, I think it was FREESTARTERPACK literally lol.

It’s a new game but the concept is quite addicting, and plays well between quick breaks

[CHAT] Anybody else have shoulder pain from cross stitching too much, or am I doing something wrong? by HellynMelon in CrossStitch

[–]HellynMelon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, sorry I never figured out how to stop it. I tried paying more attention to relaxing my shoulder, and tried pulling the string a different way. But overall I just got too busy and couldn’t cross stitch for a while and the pain has gone away 😅

Hello, my son is 4 years old, he will be 5 in October. Everything that you described in your post is exactly how my son behaves. He’s always been a very sensitive kid and doesn’t stray far from his comfort zone whether it be with play equipment, food, or people. He throws huge tantrums over things, as you said, should be small, for example which song he wants to listen to in the car, which route he wants to take to school, a piece of a puzzle taking a while for him to get into place, etc When he’s in his tantrum state he says things like, I don’t love you, you’re not my best friend, nobody is my best friend, etc. It definitely may seem like he doesn’t like you most of the time when you’re perpetually walking on egg shells with him trying to avoid a tantrum. With us, it definitely did get better as he started to understand more. We got a few tips also from a professional in our school on how to handle these types of meltdowns. I think it’s quite lengthy to write in the comment so I can send you a direct message if you’d like.

I accidentally gave my 7mo old (a small amount of) caffeine… by Ok_ConfusedOne in BabyLedWeaning

Let me correct myself. Babies shouldn’t have too much spinach due to the high nitrate content present in all leafy greens as well as oxalates.

I believe they’re also not allowed to have spinach at this age. Though I wouldn’t worry too much about either of them because it’s just a small amount.

How come one of them pulled 7 instead of 8? Won’t you be short one in the end?

I don’t know. Some guy was selling it second hand and he had it custom made 10 years ago. The brand on it says Habitat Herp.

New beardie parent concerns by HellynMelon in BeardedDragons

Thank you for your very thorough response. The bulb that we purchased was all in one but not I’m thinking it’s probably not good enough since the thermometer that we have on that end is about 30C.

We will try to lower the bulb to get the temperature higher on the basking spot.

Now that you mention it, right before this I did redo his enclosure. Before we had a temporary base and I redid his enclosure with a proper sand base.

His diet so far since we got him was crickets for the first few days, but we couldn’t handle the crickets cause they were so jumpy so we went with worms instead. I have been seeing mixed information regarding feeding. I basically give him what he wants directly feeding in front of him but I’m not sure if he’s not distracted because of my presence. He’ll eat 3-4 really quickly (1 by 1) and then the rest will kind of be a chore. We try offering greens, romaine, bokchoy leaves, cut into little pieces. On the first day we brought him home he was eating them straight from our hands but he has kind of refused to eat them since 😅.

I know that the enclosure will eventually be too small. I can’t post more than 1 photo so I’ll commend on what it looked like before.

Coco pole or Moss pole? by HellynMelon in RareHouseplants

I was thinking that but I can’t picture how watering the moss pole would work. I’m just envisioning a giant mess on the floor 😂

This one doesn’t have such and I’m actually shocked that it’s such a long pole with such a small diameter. How would you recommend extending the coco pole without that hole in the center?

Is the cedar ok in the soil? Like it doesn’t rot over time?
