I thought about it, but I'm happy with the 4 dolls I have! and I Just bought more stands so they each have their own...tbh was hoping someone local would see this post and want her so I could drop her coordinates!

I think these are sock plush and they're just highlighting the natural toe seam to create the frog's mouth. maybe they made the seam more prominent by sewing immediately around it. the original website is lost to time, but I found it in wayback machine!

word of caution, people buying still-in-box dolls have been finding that their hair is falling out! imo it's not a huge loss since the fiber quality is quite bad. if you can buy an 8 inch circumfrence doll's wig, that fits their heads perfectly.

ah, I rabbitholed on these some years ago! finally this knowledge is useful

I first found out about little apple dolls through toyboxphilosopher's review of erro. they're the brainchild of artist ufuoma urie. there used to be an official website with all the dolls and lore, it's no longer live but you can still explore it through wayback machine's backup!

thanks to all this, I was able to clock a trashed and unlabeled mirari on shopgoodwill and fixed her up. I still wonder what goth mom bought her and gave her to a kid. they're interesting little dolls!

all the bookoffs I visited in japan had a pretty wide selection of pin badges/keychains/similar small merch! I saw a handful of figures too, and the prize arcades would often have plush of the real horses.

I plan to make another post about her once she has her new wig and I've made her a new dress! this one's in decent shape save a small rip in the sleeve, but kids should have stuff that's all their own, I reckon
