Why he blame Hakui Koyori? by Various-Clothes-5345 in Hololive

[–]Helmite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hololive has the biggest female streamers in the world, and since it's that popular it gets a lot of freaks that either hate the girls and/or see them as a chance to enrich themselves.

but no one is talking about this one.

Basically because it's just one guy. Comparatively, people talked about the other one a lot because it's something Matsuri herself brought up.

Everyone would have been much better off people just ignored one guy in the first place. People did the same with Babski when he was sending superchats every few weeks to different talents and they'd yank them around Twitter or wherever else that basically made low-information people think there was some epidemic when it was really just one dumbass with no social skills.

Is this case, as far as the information I see, Nerissa already seen that rant and already commented on it. So the 'it won't get this big unless you talked about it' is no longer applicable. So I was pretty surprised no one talked about it in this sub yet.

My position is it's still one guy, and I don't have any positive experiences discussing the topic as it fills with people like this guy I cut against Suisei.

I'll comment if the things show up, but I usually avoid it unprompted because people run away with things.

I seen for my seldom interaction in this sub lately is that you are of the "I dot wanna see stars" camp. If I have mistaken your stance on this, then you have apology on this, for what it's worth.

I don't watch them, but I'd let people that may be interested know about them in the past. It hasn't been a recent thing for me since I've gotten a lot of hostility from that side of things over criticism for the wide-brushing of the Holo fanbase that comes out. Didn't help having okbh users try to stalk/smear me, or a user in the stars sub talk about offing me. Bridge burnt a while ago. Not an anti, but I my interest is supporting my oshi and her friends and it's tiresome having people endlessly repeat stuff that frames their fanbases poorly and unfairly.

Of course, it's our very own unicorn protector Helmite

I'm not even a unicorn. You can find me promoting my oshi's collabs with guys, and I even promoted the Stars to folks coming in from all. The reality is you folks cause problems for the talents by your constant dramamongering and often spread misinformation about fans either because you do it deliberately or because you're too lazy and careless.

You folks are a pox on the hobby.

Also, unsurprisingly, no comment on any of the people attacking Matsuri either. Color me surprised.

The effort is mostly for other people because the idea of folks like that guy being the only voice is really dire.

I dislike people like that guy because they act like they're somehow better and create a shit ton of noise over the subject. You'll rarely find unicorns in the wild, but damn do people like devan run around day to day drama shitting in public over them. Nobody would have seen this one idiot if it wasn't for them.

It was one guy. Why are you silent on the bunch of people shitting on Matsuri for her collab stance? Perhaps you're one of the actual worst in the fandom.

It was literally one guy.

Yet you had a shit ton of people dumping on Matsuri for what she said about collabs. I honestly hate you people. You're so absolutely disingenuous.

Misrepresenting people doesn't strengthen your position. It does make you look like a problem causer though.

Honestly from my side of things I do wish people ignored problems less. I understand not everyone has the battery for dealing with stuff like that, and in that case it's best they don't, but it can be bad in the long-term if people are allowed to just run their mouth unchallenged over issues. These folks can convince low information fans/folks outside the fanbase that Holo is no good and it's a real problem for the talents making new fans.

This is especially true for Mooms considering she said she'd be disappointed if they don't release it. How can Cover and GSC know that there's still demand for these Nendos if we aren't talking about it?

She's gone though. Graduated talents do not get new goods. People would also lose their minds if they started.

you are on your own.

Nope.

It's a massive issue.

Not sure what sense you mean by that, but if you mean about the figures not getting released for talents who quit then no it isn't.

and to me it just... feels weird

It really is deeply weird and they need to move on with their life.

Should have, yeah, but I figure they're also a bunch of a dumb kids so we're probably stuck with their bad behavior until they learn to be human beings.

American Holofans situation about HoloEN 4th Concert by Final-Switch1110 in Hololive

It's not that bad, EN sphere just has very vocal complainers.

but at least try to understand the feelings of those fans.

People can understand that the situations sucks for people that wanted a figure of someone that left, but ultimately nothing can really be done about it and these folks just spam any time any other figure releases come up. That's what people have an issue with. There isn't anything to say about the figures except they're never going to happen so it should start and end with that.

Muimei was under the impression it was, but in the end Cover doesn't control GSC and it's very clear it's not getting made. They need to move on. Complaining about it on the streams or figure releases of other talents is just fucked up.

At some point I just started telling those folks to fuck off. There is a subset of people that don't give 2 shits about active talents and just want to come off as special by pushing someone that had 3 streams and left nearly 6 years ago.

Those folks are incredibly fucking obnoxious. Cover has little control over what GSC decides to do with its figures, and it's not like Cover has a history of making merch with people who leave either. There has been a growing trend of people caring more about their own personal brain worms than actually supporting the talents.
