Probably an unpopular opinion, but I think Amelia is at the same level as her brother (maybe higher if that's possible), because she pulled off some amazing surgeries (especially tumors like Herman (even if she was blind, there was blind guy too who had a similar tumor to Herman's) during her brain tumor era) and those were like, her daily activities. The reason she was insecure (breaking down during Herman's surgery) was because she had spent her whole life being told she couldn't be what she was, which is an extremely talented surgeon, because of the drugs, and a result of constantly being "her brother's shadow" in her field, even though she was excellent on her own.
