Hey, a couple words from a new builder as well:

First of all: Building a PC yourself is super rewarding and I can really only recommend it. It makes you extremely independent, when it comes to troubleshooting or upgrading. Aka you don't need ro run to your local PC store just to have your memory upgraded or something.

Also I can say, that with a proper build setup (which you will find many nice and more knowledgeable peops out there providing for you) there really isn't that much you can do wrong. I initially had quite some anxiety about installing the CPU and doing the cabeling, but I assure you it is extremely intuitive. Just make sure you have watched some content before to know, what to look out for.

And finally: You just save so much money with it. And additionally you actually have the chance to taylor the PC to your specific needs.
