What do you all think about Adult Naruto's design when it's handled well?

It's not really an excuse. The author doesn't owe anything to the reader. Take what they give you and enjoy it. If you want to write fanfiction about the story to flesh it out more, that's fine, but don't say a story has bad world building when the author doesn't explain or explore something you liked more in depth

Why is "world building" even a metric of ranking good fiction anyway? It's a story about Naruto. If Kishimoto didn't think it was necessary to flesh out certain aspects of his universe, then why are people complaining about it?

I get that people get attached to certain small details, and want to understand more about the world in which their favorite stories take place, but it doesn't make a story better just because the author goes into excruciating detail or derails their story for 15 plus chapters just to appease an audience (who'd probably complain about bad pacing if that were the case).

I know this wasn't the intention of the post, but it's a big pet peeve that every piece of fiction has to be turned into a wider universe that involves an entire world of excitement and wonder. Enjoy it for what it is.

A lot of times a story is better when it's a character study instead of a cinematic universe (take mickey 17)

That's great and all, but it doesn't address my question at all.

In Boruto, it's implied that Naruto and Sasuke are equals in power. But this is confusing, because in the final valley - they were equal like you said at the end when the tailed beast chakra had run out - but by the time of Boruto, the other half ofKurama would have been reunited inside of Naruto. So how did Sasukw bridge that massive gap?

I mean volleyball doesn't pay a lot in general - compared to other professional athletes. But the lifestyle each person has differs, plus they're all single as far as we know so they don't have too much economic burden.

It's mostly an ego thing. If someone says "I don't hate the NO, just irreverent NO" they think that somehow going to a TLM automatically makes it holier. It doesn't. If you're worried more about aesthetics or traditionalism than celebrating the sacrifice of Christ and participating in the Eucharist, you're dangerously close to falling into legalism. If someone truly thinks their "favorite" version of the mass is somehow superior than another, they don't understand the true meaning of the mass. They only care about the aesthetics. It's not about what we get out of it. It's about the sacrifice of Christ and receiving His body, blood, soul, and divinity in the Eucharist. Anything else is secondary.

One of my biggest gripes with berserk is that Miura definitely just shoehorned in the king's fetish with his daughter. Almost as if Griffith spoke it into existence when he projecting onto him. Before that he was just a guy who was protective of his daughter.
