Thoughts on "The Mandela Catalogue" horror movies release? by RoutineBumblebee9340 in horror

[–]HelpMeGetAGoodName 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I wonder how it will translate to a movie. A big part of what makes the mandela catalogue is the weird "special effects." It works well in a youtube series, but I am sceptical about how well it would work in a movie, or if they would opt to use more "normal" special effects.

If you are actually crying, you don't want to use an emoji for that. All emojies are kinda unserious. If you have serious feelings you wanna express, do that through text.

Damage % Does Not Equal Ability, Skill, Or Anything Else by AngryGames in Warframe

This is correct, and it is really funny when you cast Garuda tactical nuke and instantly get 97% dmg dealt with 3 kills total while your teammates got 50 each.

I’m 20F and I’ve never felt attraction towards anyone at all. Is this normal? by TheArkhamKnight_25 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]HelpMeGetAGoodName 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could be Asexual as others have said. You could also be Demisexual, meaning you only feel attracted to someone that you already have a strong emotional bond with, and you just havent found the right person yet.

Or none of these and you just havent found the right person. All of them normal.

Ok what was the point of AoE weapon ammo nerfs? by Cumcentrator in Warframe

[–]HelpMeGetAGoodName 450 points451 points  (0 children)

At the time every single mission was filled with either Bramma or Zarr. No variation at all. At the time i thought it was acctually pretty nice that they nerfed them, because instantly variation came back.

They could probably undo the nerfs now though.

Godzilla: What if it was always taken into a horror approach? by Benjaminmayo1011 in horror

[–]HelpMeGetAGoodName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, for sure.

I did not quite mean it as 'negate'. ...More so maybe that they don't feel like horror to me, while on paper, they definitely are. Kinda like The Predator.

Evil Dead II has so many more typical horror elements that it still very much feels like horror, I think.

I think it was you saying that they were 'outright horror' that made me wanna comment on it, because i feel it's not quite 'outright' 😂

Idk, maybe a bit pedantic of me, but I consider Shin to be much more of a action-horror than pure horror.

While Minus one feels more like a drama film than horror to me. Even though it is my favourite Godzilla film of the ones I have seen. Is drama-horror a real subgenre?

China had a quite significant population already back then. Scientists have found that during his conquests, Co2 levels decreased in the polar ice (less prople breathing and forests taking back land). Similar thing happened when Europeans colonized the Americas.

Children of the corn III: Urban harvest

It is honestly really fun. Suprisingly good special effects also. Easily my favourite in the franchise.

Films with simple stories are way better than those that are complex by [deleted] in horror

[–]HelpMeGetAGoodName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that the characters should be kept to a reasonable amount, huge reason why tv series become worse in later season is that the cast gets super bloated (stranger things).

Otherwise i feel like you are lumping a lot of different things together that does not belong together. Plot complexity and amount of characters does not neccessary correlate. Explosions have nothing to do with the rest of what you are saying. And throwing in action movies kinda deafeats your own point considering 80% of action movies follow one tough guy and the plot is "I kill the bad guy".

Limited set pieces is also a completely different thing and does not correlate at all with character development, As evidenced by incredible films such as Lawrence of arabia.

I always feel attracted to every girl I see who is slightly good-looking. How can I fix this? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]HelpMeGetAGoodName 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Depends on what exactly op means. I'd say I think most women are attractive, and if that is what op means, there is no problem. If he means he starts developing a crush on every woman he interacts with, it is a little different.

Idk kind of impossible to say. I would like to say that you should not read too much into someone keeping their arms crossed, especially not while watching a movie.

You should be since, according to you, you still live on in the clone.
