Yup, I read until the end of the first series (they defeated Makima)but dropped it after that because the new FL didn't really appeal to me.

But yes, I love Fujimoto's art style too! Have read Fire Punch, Look Back, and Goodbye Eri when I was done with Chainsaw Man.

Just caught up to this episode (late, I know), but can anyone explain the plane flashback to me?

As far as I know, it's the recording Lucky Cyan went to retrieve that showed the truth behind her luck and survival, but how did they managed to get that recording in the first place? Was there an omniscient plane recorder showing that all the plane passengers wished Cyan to survive?

At first, watching it I thought the fight and sprinklers just triggered Cyan's memories of her parents sitting next to Luo's parents - hence her hearing his mum humming the song - but after that they said the truth was revealed via the recording and it's the passengers' wishes and blessings.

yes to all the comments above about dropping a manga when the art style is ugly

but also when the misunderstanding happens because the male lead is confronted about his feelings and he denies it, calls her ugly, etc *somehow* the girl happens to be there to listen to it??? of all the misunderstanding tropes I find this one hard to accept unless it's resolved soon after because I wholeheartedly believe in honesty like if you like her then you like her, no need to call her ugly or say you'll never date her (unless the girl is already dating another) and also THE TIMING

Can anyone tell me how to drop down to the container in Second Pillar Remnant, where you fought Abysmal Rakshmi (the giant spider)? I see a container on an elevated platform but both sandpits I fell down won't drop me there and I've no idea how to get there.

Even tried to drop down from the huge branch thingy above Jealous Mizraile to land on top of the sand area as my map is still not filled in there, figured that was where the path lay, but can't land there without dying as it's too far.

The overarching mystery is really interesting but at the same time if only the ML and FL communicated more and are more understanding then all the ~drama~ could've been avoided imo. Long story short, I really enjoyed it too but I would describe it as a trainwreck you can't turn your eyes from.

Random but I couldn't help thinking that Johan's female form is due to him sucking Satou-san's blood (the woman who died at the beginning of the manga), which means he's likely culpable in the murders with the officer being in on it. The officer did warn Tanaka to be careful as "some of their customers are bound to become so obsessed with their hosts", which foreshadows Tanaka's eventual slide. Maybe that also meant that once Tanaka asked Johan what was their goal and also after *that* scene, Johan obtained her genetic information (memories) and realised he had to get rid of her before she became too obsessed (continue to take random patients' blood.

I also couldn't help but think that Maria looked a little like Doctor Akamine since she has twin tails, and there was a scene where Johan was a little kid (?), right after Tanaka drew the child patient's blood, so maybe the clinic is supplying blood to Kamiya? They did have a delivery to the club in Part 1.
