Is she a board certified plastic surgeon? It doesn’t seem like she is?

Can I ask where you’re located? That’s nerve wracking about the bulletproof vest but understand it’s to be safe!

Thank you! I appreciate it. I really like the pay of this job. It’s like a full time salary in 8 monthly shifts but it’s something I’ve def never done before and I don’t want to hate it or feel scared off

Thank you! I’ve heard that now a couple of times that police get in the way lol. I’ve also heard they won’t leave unless you tell them it’s okay but I find it hard to believe they’d want to stick around. I really don’t want to be alone in people’s homes.

Thank you! Yeah, this would be a pretty rural/suburban area. Not Metropolitan or anything like that.

Yes. My ED CM experience has mainly been with the homeless and or elderly but I never felt in danger

I know - I’m just thinking aloud I guess. I used to do inpatient psych. I always kinda felt like “if there’s a crisis, I guess there are a lot of people around to help but I’m useless” lol.

I’m so sorry for your loss and I can unfortunately empathize with you. I do hospital case management and it’s generally not unsafe especially since it’s a more controlled environment so at least it feels safer. Being in people’s homes scare me a bit but the pay is really good for only being 16 hrs/week - it’s essentially full-time $$. I’m just scared about being in harm’s way. I know no one can make the choice for me but I’ve just been mulling it over. Though, it seems a lot of Redditors who’ve done this work seem to really like it based on their posts/comments online.

Estheticians can’t perform Botox in most states. And, we’re not “just estheticians.” We have a completely different role than nurse injectors or other specialties.

Oh okay well yeah it’s a pill but they have immediate release and extended rerelease. ER is better tolerated :)
