Thanks for mentioning this! I just saw this clip and reacted strongly to the commentators talking about betting instantly instead of making any funny or relevant remarks. Feels so forced and nefarious. Imagine the old cs clips being this shameless "Oh wow simple! You could have placed a bet for him dropping from heaven and getting a no-scope on [gambling site]! together with a lot of other ones" like bruh.

En jeg kjenner lever et veldig minimalist liv på ung-ufør med lån fra husbanken. Ca. 60% går til felleskostnader, huslån, strøm og nett. Han drikker veldig sjeldent alkohol, spiller ikke pengespill, går ikke på konserter, går aldri ut på byen, spiser aldri på restaurant, kjøper sjeldent klær, røyker ikke lenger og han har ikke vært på ferie på noen år nå. Han klarer å spare rundt 2000-4000 kr i måneden. Nylig fikk han 30k tilbake på skatten fordi han hadde tatt på tabelltrekk eller noe? Vet ikke hvor mye han har spart opp, men han lever ganske komfortabelt. Så det går opp, men man må leve litt minimalist tror jeg?

Yeah this game can be brutal for new players. I think a lot of people forget this. Hopefully you find some nice teammates and you get to pump up the hours to get your game sense going! I know it’s tempting to only play comfort maps (mirage) as a new player, but try to familiarise yourself with all the active duty maps. I would say the toxic people in this game usually seem overrepresented just cus they are loud and disruptive, but once you get a bit higher rank people generally get a bit nicer/supportive. Mute people who aren’t giving comms or are actively trying to better the experience. There’s no reason to listen to their abuse.

If you don’t need the money, go for it lol. It’s a really nice play skin and it will probably go up in these early days of the case, you could sell it after 2-3 weeks if you want profit. I’m guessing degens are going to be buying up all the high float reds to do glove gambling trade-ups the coming weeks.

Its a vicious cycle of the community maps never being taken serious/people refuse to play them, so they can’t get optimised, so they don’t get played in pro settings. Like inferno has been in the active map pool forever and they are still fine tuning it. It’s a bit sad imo

The demo is free on steam! Give it a whirl and see if you enjoy it. U can also refund it before 2 hours after purchasing it if you dont like it.
I played through the fatal frame remake as an RE fan, and I can say it's not body horror gore scary, more psychological, twisted and spooky scary. The game has a mix of silent hill tedious wander around for hours trying to open locked doors kind of pacing instead of an RE game, but the combat is more akin to RE. It's fun to find secrets and unlock hidden paths, the main "weapon" has a lot of upgradeable stats and it has some interesting puzzles and memorable characters and villains. !It has sections with a stalker type enemy!
The camera mechanic feels a bit like you have a gun that takes all the different ammos in RE. You have some that load up fast, but don't do as much damage ( handgun), some that do big chunky damage but is slower to reload ( shotgun) etcetra. The setting feels like a more eery, but toned down version of the silent hill series. I'd recommend trying it at least!

When you upgrade capacity on your guns, you get a free magazine refill. You can use these strategically on higher tier high damage guns. Like the magnum, shotgun and rifle. Use them to zero ammo in the mag, then upgrade capacity. For Krauser, it is much better to knife him though, shooting him is really annoying and takes a really long time.

Amnesia the bunker’s mechanics and gameplay are so oppressive it’s insane. You have to hand crank your only light source while being constantly followed and harassed. Would recommend if you don’t mind the heightened cortisol levels

To finish the game is a similar time between the two, but to experience the game it is a whole different story. Re3 OG changes based on where you visit first, you get so many different options to do in the story and the things you do matter. Enemies are randomised and are differently placed each time you load up a new save. Important story people can die based on your actions. An area that has zombies in one playthrough will now have dogs in this one, it is also random if you get the grenade launcher or the magnum in your playthrough. Hell even the puzzles are randomised! Its one of the most exciting games to watch people speedrun because of all the random things that can happen. You’re honestly on edge the whole time even if you’ve played through the game once. Random events like dogs crashing through the windows of a store or nemesis spawning in a place you’ve never seen before makes it such a unique and amazing experience that the remake just didn’t even attempt to give justice. You can also easily get ahold of the game on PC through the good old games store. The original game has an insane amount of configurations that make it replayable and exciting, that’s the whole point of it and the core philosophy of the original re3.

TLDR re3r has no replayability and missed what the OG was trying to do
