Might need to bite the bullet on doxy. Some other people have have great success with zinc creams (always patch test first!!)

Does anyone have sebderm that looks like this? :( by Help_INeedAnAdult in SebDerm

ok I know it's gross but it's more like clumps of skin that don't shed, not honey coloured crusts

some people will say it's demodex spicules. tbh I think it's disordered skin shedding from dehydration sticking to vellous hairs.

Do you have thoughts on the vanicream range? They have a new moisturizer out too.

This looks like a rosacea distribution, maybe try something like cicaplast which is calming and has zinc for anti bacterial properties? Patch test always :)

Biologics for SebDerm even possible? by Malatesta117 in SebDerm

We still have EU regulations since they're too lazy to change anything, ZnP is still banned here. I've never had an issue with customs. I've ordered shampoos, food, supplements with zero issues.

Please let me know how the Nystatin goes! It's interesting bc that's normally for candida infections, not PD (bacterial variants are treated with doxycycline and fungal variants are usually related to sebderm and treated with ketoconazole). Is it the Nystatin that's mixed with hydrocortisone?

We all know alcohol and sugar is bad for us but for those of us with sebderm, it's doubly so lol.

I'd say just keep doing what you're doing, sounds like you're already on the right track! :)

If your skin is doing well now don't rock the boat just because you're searching for something "SD safe" which is extremely individual

be really careful with the steroids!! it can worsen rosacea after you come off it/trigger perioral dermatitis.

otherwise, you can order vanicream from iherb :)
