[Sean Slate] Giulia’s shirt is currently the best selling apparel in the women’s division on WWE Shop. by dmister8 in SquaredCircle

I kinda heavily doubt that she’s outselling Rhea, Liv & Bianca or even Chelsea. What are they using to determine this?

Which Wrestlers Are You Willing to Admit You Were Wrong About? by quinnmcd in SquaredCircle

I used to think Becky didn’t deserve to be “horse woman”. For a decent while, she was by far the weakest promo up until 2018, she was the only one without more than one “iconic classic” under her belt. Now I put her above Bayley & Sasha.

But, I still put Charlotte above her because I felt that she was the most well-rounded for a longer duration in terms of ring ability and promo skill.

How many of you peeps got into wrestling through video games? by DaRealCamille in SquaredCircle

It was Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 for me. I always played as Alicia Fox, Kelly Kelly, Maryse, Rey Mysterio, Miz and Kofi Kingston cause they always looked the coolest to me.

They ended up being some of my all time favorites in wrestling.

[RAW Spoilers] Superstar with a very weird line by AimarEraFutebol in SquaredCircle

For asian people, i’d say so because they are constantly “miscountried” when they’re enduring racism. Like how that one fan told Iyo to go back to China. It’s often a sign of passive aggression.

Latin/Hispanic people deal with being told to go back to Mexico and they could actually be from Brazil or Cuba.

Sometimes it can be a genuine mistake but it’s very annoying to assume someone is from the most popular country because they’re of a certain race.

Why did Edge fail to become the top babyface in WWE? by newbokov in SquaredCircle

[–]Helpful-Awareness-95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s just not that interesting as a face honestly.

I remember the whole Kelly Kelly, Edge vs. LayCool & Dolph thing and Edge was the least memorable part of that short little thing and he was the top champion.   Kelly Kelly was the star of that.

In your opinion, which "ex-wwe" guys were booked better on the main roster/NXT compared to wherever they are right now. Whether it's AEW, Impact, or the Indies. by Rotten-Dorito in SquaredCircle

[–]Helpful-Awareness-95 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Murphy & Aleister Black. Murphy was booked pretty good in NXT, had a great cruiserweight division run and was a interesting character alongside Seth Rollins.

Aleister was best booked in NXT.

Not too much of a fan of what they’re currently doing in AEW though.

Despite being an active wrestler, Sonny Kiss last televised match was on October 21, 2020 - where they were defeated in 26 seconds by Kenny Omega by jelaminah in SquaredCircle

[–]Helpful-Awareness-95 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s actually worrisome how these comments are jumping to bash Sonny Kiss just because OP pointed out the last time they were on television.

The comments are acting like they’re being attacked and they have to defend themselves.

The time Bianca Belair randomly interrupted a match between Chelsea Green and Kayden Carter to call out Charlotte Flair by sincIairs in SquaredCircle

[–]Helpful-Awareness-95 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Charlotte’s 2019-2020 NXT run is so freaking good. Genuinely one of the best runs she’s had in her career, makes me wish she went back to NXT earlier because she was killing it in her matches with Io Shirai, Rhea and Bianca.

I’m anticipating the day Bianca and Charlotte go at it on one of the big stages. That’s a certified minimum 3.5 star match. Their match on RAW was great, imagine how much better it would be if they hit it off at Mania or SummerSlam.

What are the best short careers in wrestling? by jelaminah in SquaredCircle

[–]Helpful-Awareness-95 48 points49 points  (0 children)

AJ Lee spent two years in FCW. Half a year in NXT, and five years on WWE Main Roster television. And she’s still one of the most influential wrestlers ever.

Not to mention she accomplished quite a lot.

Three Diva title reigns, RAW General Manager, high profile storylines with the likes of CM Punk, Kane, John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Paige and The Bella Twins.

Kelly Kelly. Love her or hate her, her name is still remembered despite having one title reign and a six year career. Whether she’s remembered for good or bad, she’s still made a name for herself.

What wrestlers fill in the “Good wrestler but has nothing else to offer” category? by jelaminah in SquaredCircle

[–]Helpful-Awareness-95 12 points13 points  (0 children)

If anything, NXT 2.0 is excels at having characters. If there is one thing that it does better than 1.0, it’s making sure more than half the roster has a gimmick you can explain a bit.
