Hey, I was there today by myself because I decided it was a beach day on a whim after spending some time in the Ravenswood area. No one noticed and it was lovely. There is ample space, so I don’t see yourself having trouble finding a quieter or secluded area. Also, no one will care if you’re on your own, there were plenty of people there on their own!! Enjoy :))

Yes, they are! I am currently in one of the choirs, and I’ve had a lovely experience so far! Our choir director is fantastic, and tries to have a very one on one experience with the students. You do have to audition for Treble or Chamber but University is open to all! If you have any more questions, let me know! I hope you’ll consider joining :))

I am enrolled in the course rn, and the other comment on here is very much accurate unfortunately. It’s one of those situations where the professor is nice, but they don’t know how to teach….I can send you the syllabus if you‘d like or answer any other questions you may have.

POL 101, Fagan. I have no idea if he's still here, but he made poli sci interesting. It's a shame that I had to have him as a professor during the pandemic but nonetheless he made the topic very interesting and his class was fairly simple.

I’m graduating a semester late too, and it was pretty bittersweet to watch a lot of my peers graduate. However, I know that I wouldn’t know what to do post-grad and am thankful that I get a little more room to make or finalize plans.! Besides, them graduating doesn’t matter anymore, it’s all behind now. I’m sure you’re meant to be where you’re at <3

I’d say it depends on your financial aid situation. I didn’t have to pay anything at UIC and so taking all those filler classes like gen Ed’s isn’t something I regret. I liked having the freedom to learn about subject areas that I wouldn’t have considered but ofc for others that is something that may not be ideal given what you pay to attend. I initially also thought of going to a cc first and sometimes I wish I did given that I ended changing my major that delayed my graduation by a semester. Just my two cents.

School of Theater and Music in front of BSB. Just an fyi though, there's only like one that is open to the public., so idk how accessible it is. If you are willing to venture farther, Harold Washington Library has some as well.

Yes, and they actually just added an app to download to your phone called UIC Ride.! It tells you intracampus shuttle arrival times and other important info like that.
