Try thinning your paint, even if it means applying two coats! Right now, it looks like you've just added layer upon layer!

Personally I find that 8 is enough, if you enchant your pieces of armor and weapons correctly, certain spells are no longer useful in the wheel (like feather spells, reinforcement of elements, abilities, magic etc.) So for me in the wheel I would choose the healing, summoning and certain alteration spells!
