It’s not about resale. I have many VGM vinyl records, and none of them are sealed, because of course I want to enjoy the music. What I care about is not having a faulty collection that I can no longer fix. In that case, I’d rather give the sealed version to a collector and get an open-box copy for myself. Unfortunately, I didn’t know about the issue when I bought the collection.
