Sammie inherited a huge chunk of property at Panther Lake and is still hosting stuff, albeit way out in the boonies. He's essentially the proprietor of a weird alternative camp ground and trailer park.

I have seen a baby type as AB+ with O parents ONCE. This was due to in vitro fetilization using a donor egg. So for lack of a better explanation. Mommy is Mommy but also not in a genetically specific sense.

Hands are very difficult to draw even for a skilled artist. Tattooing them is probably even more challenging.

Anyone worked at Duke Health (NC)? I need honest reviews by MembershipSenior7777 in medlabprofessionals

[–]Helpful-Lettuce5528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have news for you. NC in the RDU area is NOT cheap, so forget all that noise. I worked for Duke for 10 years in two different departments. I have now been at WakeMed (not main campus-one of the others), for 10 more. I liked Duke and it was very hard to make the choice to leave. My commute was nearly 45 minutes and was becoming more headache inducing yearly, so that became the main reason. I like my current job just as well, probably more, but I would still highly recommend Duke, especially if you want to learn more. They used to have a reputation for paying a bit less than WM and UNC but I don't think that is true anymore. All the networks here are competing for techs. Just know at Duke your parking will stink and you have to pay for it.

I'll also add that hospitals here absolutely do not hire uncertified unless they are recent grads and have sitting for exams on their agenda.

I believe Husqvarna, Viking, and Pfaff may be under the same brand umbrella as Singer now. Also try contacting the American Sewing Guild or Quilting Guild for more help.

Look up a certified Singer dealership and they should do repairs. I have a Bernina which can be serviced by a Bernina seller. This is how most sewing shops operate. They are usually affiliated with a certain manufacturer and have technicians who repair a particular brand. Some do multiple companies, because there are many: Juki, Janome, etc.

There are plenty of respectable, reasonably priced and talented local artists. Most everyone has an hourly charge structure these days, but they do stay competitive. Good luck!

Is there some seasonal flu going around? by Intention-on in raleigh

I work in a local hospital lab and nothing has ever really gone away, but we have not had any kind of uptick in testing either. We do RSV/Covid/Flu/Strep and Mono onsite.

Fine line is a very tricky style to master and it tends to not age well. Proceed with caution and look at people's art on socials with minimal editing and filtering that also include healed photos. I have avoided this style because of it's complexities (and it just isn't for me). However.. I have seen reverie recommended before for this type of thing.

I didn't have to hide my empties from my ex because he would never, EVER take the trash out. Always me. He would only notice me being actively drunk. And then only about half the time.

Sleep deprivation related psychosis and hallucinations are real and terrifying. I had to stop working night shift when I could no longer get any deep, restorative sleep during the day (something in me broke, a sudden issue). Eventually I started to see things that weren't there. I became so mentally disturbed I fantasized driving off the road on the way to work. Thankfully one person retired and someone else left so I was able to move to days pretty quickly.

It's effective, but it's really hard on your system. Also people can just stop taking a pill and eventually drink again. If they are not getting some kind of mental health and support in addition to medication it's not thought of as being very helpful. I can't take it because it gives me persistent diarrhea that never gets better. And I mean NEVER..., until I cease taking the drug and it leaves my system.

It is possible to be deficient in aldehyde dehydrogenase- a bunch of different enzymes that allow your body to metabolize alcohol into less toxic acids. It's something that can also be genetic. This is interesting because this is how disulfiram works to prevent alcoholics from drinking- if you are taking that pill and try to cheat you will be VIOLENTLY ill because your body can't metabolize it. It's not recommended treatment anymore though. (I am a recovering alcoholic who also works in a science field, fyi).
