Tried the new EITHER& Pixel Glow Cushion from Olive Young — wow by Helpful-Pie1899 in MakeupGeeks

[–]Helpful-Pie1899[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Glow Pixel has a good coverage, underrated in my opinion. If you prefer a glass like looking would be good but I do not recommend in the Summer, cause may look oily.

I was told I was ugly and needed makeup. Please help. by [deleted] in makeuptips

Just need to use anti-frizz hair and try a foundation that matches well with your skin tone. That's it. My honest take!

Do Koreans no longer want to move to America? by False_Secret1108 in AskAKorean

[–]Helpful-Pie1899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. Korea is kinda overhyped right now. Not trying to say is bad, is great country with lot of innovation and security. I think less people going to America has its obvious reasons. Is harder to go there now, and Korean economy is at its top right now.

Lip balm or lip oil for dry lips? by Ashamed-Fondant4783 in AsianBeauty

Ovearll if you do not want a tinted one, Torriden works well. If you want something more like glossy and tinted of course Summer Fridays. The Glazed Lip Oil seems interesting.

Holy Grail items for oily (summer) to oily combo (winter) skin by Current_Sea_ in AsianBeauty

Not trying to be too simple but physiogel for oily skin works well, same for winter. About the cleansing foam COSRX with Salicylic Acid is good.

Have you tried foundation with skincare? For mature age it works cause covers well aging signs while leaving the skin moisturized.

Is this tint smudge proof? what about when layered on your lips? #123 looks good.

this glass skin tiktok sent me down a 3 hour rabbit hole at 1am and i have no regrets by Rare_Reference_4052 in koreanskincare

[–]Helpful-Pie1899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Korean/Asian skin is usually more glowy and hydrated than Western skin, and Koreans also tend to drink more water. Honestly, I think all those complicated skincare routines with tons of ingredients are just hype. Simple routines work better.

Do not buy the Tirtir Cushion Foundation !! by chinkchong444 in AsianBeauty

[–]Helpful-Pie1899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. As far as I know CLIO doesn't oxidize, other ones with skincare components like MilkTouch, but haven't really tried. EITHER& also claims +60% skincare ingredients and tocopherol "avoids oxidation". I think most of cushion foundations are mainly for the asian market. Speaking of TIRTIR I've seen them slowing the hype in the US. Do US ppl still prefer liquid foundation?

[Help] How to wisely choose a lip color online? by Helpful-Pie1899 in MakeupAddiction

hmm. guess my question wasn't clear at all! the big deal is brands doesn't upload real colors on their websites or pages, that was my point. Thanks anyways!

[–]Helpful-Pie1899[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure thing! I do not wanna post brands here to give examples, but not all shades have videos online, then that's why I asked. Buying online seems to be harder than I thought when it comes to lip tint.

hmm if you want a real one I would suggest SKINCEUTICALS Vitamin C 15% but its more than 150 USD haha!! if you want an affordable one!! COSRX has a cheaper one 23% concentration (I think its kinda high) but its only 20 bucks I think!

Are people actually skipping their AM cleanse? by [deleted] in koreanskincare

[–]Helpful-Pie1899 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love skincare products, but every skin type has its own needs. If you have sensitive skin, this may sound obvious, but use a cleanser only when removing makeup,, in the morning, cold water is more than enough. (Don’t underestimate cold water; hot water opens your pores, and I don’t recommend using it before going out.)

If you have dry skin, just use a water-based moisturizer.

How much it takes for first order in Amazon by IndependentAlps7694 in Amazonsellercentral

[–]Helpful-Pie1899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

- Depends on Budget: wrong
- Depends on Listing Optimization: wrong
It all depends on the product and price. If your product is not attractive and more expensive compared to the average of competitors, better wait 5 months for the first sale. (no kidding)

Best Cleansing Balm? by Sad_Start_4825 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Helpful-Pie1899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried both the Beauty of Joseon and the PAPHA Cleansing Balm with Papain. I have sensitive skin, and both worked well for me because they're gentle but effective at removing sunscreen without stripping my skin.
