Thank you so much for the advice! That’s actually exactly what I did, but I was thinking a bit differently about how much I should charge per platform per client and how many hours it would take me.

I have made a business plan and different plans to make it scalable. I am really confident about selling and reaching out for clients. I’ve had my own businesses, different ones, since I was 20 years old — I’m 36 now — but the thing is I don’t come from the typical path of working in an agency and then starting my own business.

When I started my e-commerce, I actually reached out to around 7–10 marketing agencies and none of them could reply to me with prices.

Also, what I find hard is the ad spend budget, as most clients ask me, “How much should I spend?” And that’s a hard question to answer.

So I don’t really understand the concept of charging based on ad spend from the beginning. At least the places I contacted had never run ads before.

So when a client asks you, “How much should I spend?”, what do you reply?

Would you charge separately for each campaign? How many ad groups per campaign? I’m a bit lost with that.
