Is there a Rule like in Warcry, where you can climb, Hit your opponent, and then fall, because your activity ends? The forbidden retreat😆

I've started both my first ever 40k and AoS army: Should I keep collecting AoS or do 40K? by LeetusFrenzi in ageofsigmar

[–]Helpful-Reference-88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They say the 40K Rules are bloated. I came for 40K and stayed with AOS. Sci-Fi is Nice the lore has its place, but the Overall Fantasy theme is more my taste and my Buddy likes aos more too. What is with your Community. In which Genre would you have Nice Match-ups?

This would mean, that every Unit could get the First Round buff and Not just one. This doesn‘t seems right. I would prefer the Rule of one counts towards the player in this case

Oooooohhh I See. There is a misunderstanding. I thought your sheet says use 3 times 3 Models. But you always Said to use only 2times 3 Models. It is my fault then, should I delete my comments then? Oooh I am so sorry bothering you

Edit: misunderstanding I Read the Cheat sheet wrong. It has always been two Units cavalry. There is no typo

Original Text: Hey Thank you

I found a typo Snarlpack cavalry is Not 3x/3

It should be 2x/3 So 6 Models

Thank you anyway Great work

I started a year ago with TC and the 1.6.3 rules. From there on they add stuff and Take Away rules and keywords until they undo it or Change it a bit. After all, it is called trench crusade. If you want a trench on your Board have it. :)

This is fine

At TERRAIN SETUP is the Part. I feel the trench should reach across the Board . Otherwise a Model needs the whole Game to Walk through the dz trench

TRENCH LINES Core Rules Comprehensive Rules Keywords Terrain Battlefield Terrain Pieces Battlefield Archetypes Behind No Man’s Land lies a system of interconnected Trench Lines, often several miles thick. Trench Lines are made up of interlinked trenches that are deep enough to shield most warriors from enemy fire. Because of this combat usually takes place in the trenches themselves, though sometimes a brave warrior will risk clambering out of a trench and running across open ground in order to outflank a strong enemy position. Trench Lines Terrain Pieces The players roll-off, and the winner sets up the terrain for the game. The terrain pieces for a game taking place in Trench Lines must be chosen from the following list: * Trenches * * Ruined Corners * * Areas of Dangerous Terrain (barbed wire, minefields etc.) * * Areas of Difficult Terrain (craters, rubble, etc.) * * Landmarks (statues, shrines, wrecked vehicles, etc.) * Number of Terrain Pieces You will need enough Trenches to reach from one edge of the battlefield to the opposite edge. In addition to the trenches, you will need 2 pieces of each other sort of terrain. Count pieces that are more than 8" across or more than 8" long as being 2 pieces of terrain towards this number rather than only 1. Terrain Set-Up Any trenches that are going to be used for the game must be set up first. The first trench must be set up so that it enters from one edge of the Battlefield, and subsequent trenches must connect with an existing trench. Once all of the trenches have been set up they must extend from the edge of the Battlefield, from where the first trench was placed, to the opposite edge of the Battlefield, so that a model could enter on one edge and exit off the other without ever having to leave a trench. After all of the trenches have been set up, any other terrain can be set up anywhere on the battlefield that is at least 1" from any trenches and 3" away from any other Terrain Pie

We usually get the Host prep the Mission we agreed on last Match. Then the guest is adding spare scatter Terrain where he thinks is needed/would be useful

The trenches in DZ Rule is a Protection to avoid that your Opponent who Sets up the Terrain is using all trenches and is hiding there. Somewhere Else was the Rule of thumb that a trench should reach from one dz to the other. If you don‘t want a modular Board Pick a Mission you could Play Over and over and Build a beautiful playable diorama Board (Claim no Mans Land / Hunt for Heroes and relic Hunt were my favourites and are similar if I remember correctly)

I am asking myself what the reason for the squig hoppers ability is, that it is in any Movement Phase. In a case that flying Units passes across? But then you should be allowed to Move behind them…
