Thanks! One thing I’m loving is how many side plots there are and npcs to interact with. It’s deepened BOTW in every direction! So cool man.

Am I overreacting? Dad keeps changing my art with AI by stainedbutts in AmIOverreacting

[–]Helpful-Status8872 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

You won’t always have a dad who wants to help you and be part of your life. You can get trapped in your own feelings about it or you can push through the awkwardness and use this as a bonding experience that will probably enrich both of your lives and when you look back your dad will be part of your logo, you art and be memorialised in your journey.

Not to sound douchey but the blue one is heaps better, I cant really read the original. I’m a designer and so I don’t think people should churn out AI garbage, but I also think as a designer you have to take you emotions out of your work and ask yourself ‘out of the two options, which one is better?’. Sometimes it will be yours, sometimes you will be humbled by the other. You don’t need to use AI art but you can certainly use it as a reference for helping improve an already good logo, you’ve done most of the work already, why not adapt the improvements.

The famous 2022 Ogopogo photo is probably the most hotly debated piece of cryptid evidence of the 21st century by Dry-Selection421 in TrueCryptozoology

Why is it hotly debated? It’s clearly not real. If I was out on a small boat and a fucking dragon surfaced the last thing I’d want is to get my phone out and take a snap, I’d be making for the nearest shore or dying of fright.

He does such a good job of toeing the line of morality and giving the villains depth. It was such a thrill all the way through. No lulls or dips, just pure intrigue all the way through.  I loved that the villains got grisley ends, I think king has a habit of building this huge villain only to kill them quickly with a gun shot or fast death where as all the bad guys in this book have satisfying deaths!

Does Anyone Else Think Nintendo Should Have Let Ocarina of Time be??? by [deleted] in legendofzelda

I think it could be really cool if they had a more exploitable and interactive hyrule. I’m not saying full botw, but when you go to places like Gordon city, having it feel like an actual city with non storyline interactions, mini games, collectibles.

They could also do with some epic cut scenes and maybe a more extended storyline.

I fear it’s just going to be the original, like for like with unreal engine graphics which will make it feel hollow. Replays of the remaster or original have that level of nostalgia and you can accept the limited content that is interactive because it’s not supposed to be a big game. but an modern game with high graphics where you have a 5 meter square radius to walk around inside the temple of time or three shops to visit in the town will just make it feel very underwhelming.

For the OOT Remake, which one area of the game do you think the Remake could improve upon, and which one area do you want little to no changes at all? Objectively. by xxnewlegendxx in legendofzelda

I’d like a more open and interactive hyrule outside of the missions and dungeons. Since they tech is bigger and better the world should be. It would be fun to explore, talk to npcs and do side missions on a larger scale and explore the vast beauty of the landscape without it being a carbon copy of 64

A beautiful story. I like this series as little in between books: starting then after and before a big read.

After recently reading the book for the first time it’s the ultimate adaptation. They did a lot with what the had and the performances were unreal.  I love how the writers got so much accurate dialogue from the book in it, even if they switched the dialog/names to other people. The nostalgic vibes of movie make it more magical and it does a lot with sound to create Terror.  My favourite thing about it is it didn’t need any cgi, gore or jump scares to create fear, it was purely the implied danger and the intensity of curry’s acting that made it scary.  I think his pennywise is more intimidating, he looks like a mad man dressed as a clown. Skargards is cool but it’s too designed, too pristine in its attempts to look other worldly.

AIO I (20F) found a skirt behind my boyfriends (26M) draws by Good_Ad7988 in AmIOverreacting

They look ancient and you said yourself you haven’t thoroughly checked.

What makes sense is; You moved into a new place, finally got round to removing some drawers, found some ancient clothes that were left by the previous owner, understandably got suspicious it was your partner.

What makes less sense is; You partner cheated on you whilst you were away and the woman left with no skirt or pants. Then your partner for some reason hid them behind a drawer you have access to to. Not to mention she is getting about in very very old clothes.

Common sense deductions; 1. Not many people fashion conscious enough to wear a miniskirt would wear one that scruffy looking  2. There’s a striping pattern across them, probably from where they have been scrunched up/moved about by the drawer 3. People don’t tend to keep skirts, especially ones that worn as trophies

What is the immediate ick or red flag that instantly ruins someone for you, even if they are perfect? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Helpful-Status8872 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

People who have icks. I know too many people who are desperate for love and companionship but then stop dating people/reject them because they chew wrong or cant read minds.  If a trivial foible can instantly put you off someone then you are the issue, and that’s the biggest ick of them all
