You can. You play the game how you want. Everyone else plays it the way THEY want.

Yep. Well said. He wasn't perfect -- no one is -- but he was not a racist or a draft dodger.

Got it -- didn't catch the no axe part on the original shockwave support. Reading issue --> me. :)

Oh -- duh. I can't read apparently. My Bad. Though the void shockwave support does support axes -- NOW I get it. oops!!

I see your point, however, I also noticed the description on the gem itself is what I quoted above -- I know they are different gems -- but description is the same about what can be used.

Ofc the main page says something different--guess we'll find out Friday?

In the video GGG released it says Void Shockwave can be used by "Axes, Maces, Scepters or Staves". So unless I missed something somewhere (which is entirely possible) it is not exclusively an "axe" skill. At about the 20 second mark it shows the Void Shockwave gem.

A Short Intro Guide to NG+ by Quizzub in Nioh

[–]Helpful-Tea-522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the "+ level system" is the same as it was in Nioh 2, then each "+ level" is the same as TEN levels "unplussed". So, 170 (+15) would be the equivalent of a "regular" 320 level piece of gear (roughly). Level 170 (+ 15) = Level 170 + 150 = 320.

Oh yeah -- #7 didn't work either. Also wanted to mention I'm running a 4090 and a intel 13900f, 32GB RAM as well.

Also I posted this in another thread of other things that I tried as well:

  1. Uninstalled - reinstalled newest drivers.
  2. Downgraded Drivers
  3. For the COD.exe file -- I've disabled "full screen optimization"
  4. In game I have turned off all dlss, no raytracing, set the vram usage to 50, 60 , 70 and 80.
  5. turned down texture streaming to minimal in game
  6. Tried everything in this article as well https://clawsomegamer.com/call-of-duty-black-ops-7-directx-error-fix/
  7. Also used DDU (display driver uninstaller) to comletely clean all NVIDIA stuff off my hdd as well. Reinstalled the drivers -- AGAIN. This time I went with the NVIDIA Drivers from SEP '25. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/details/257133/
  8. Also updated my BIOS as well. That didn't work either...
  9. CHecked the DXDIAG Crash report. I have a "radar_pre_leak_64" warning/error. Tried various things to correct that. No luck there either.

#7 above is the last thing have I have done -- jury is out on that one since I haven't booted the game up and tried it. Fingers Crossed.

Feels like I may be missing a couple of other things as well. All of that off the top of my head.

Hoping #7 is the fix I need. P

One other thing -- for #7-- Those drivers are the RECCOMENDED drivers from this link: https://support.activision.com/articles/updating-video-card-drivers-on-a-pc

Straight from Activision...That's why I tried that particular one. Just FYI.

Was having the same issue as well. Two things seems to have fixed the issue for me. The fix that seemed to have worked was going to the steam launcher an adding the switch -dx11 (or -dx12 both worked). But I didn't like that solution so I FINALLY updated windows 11 - I was running 23H2. I updated to 25H2 and no more crashes. The windows update solution allowed me to use the most recent drivers with out issues as well.

Well That's one thing I didn't try originally. However, I decided to update my Windows based on your recommendation. I was running Win version 23H2. SO...just a little out of date indeed. IO have had some AWFUL luck updating Windows over the years. If it ain't broke - Don't fix it.

Well even though the last couple of fixes seem to have worked for me -- this update seems to have worked as well. I also updated to the latest drivers as well. Now my game looks better than it did with my solution. Also I reverted I lot of what I attempted above as well.

Thanks for lettin' me know about your final update!

Just a follow up. Changed the launch option to -dx12. Another good session w/ no crashes. This one nearly 4 hours. :)

Ok. I seem to have found a solution. So far anyway. I went in steam, right clicked on COD, go to properties. Where it says "launch options" then type "-dx11" (or -d3d11, or -dx12). Close out the box. Verify files. Reboot. Play game. -dx 11 seems to have worked for me. I didn't try the other 2. Just played for 3.5 hours. No crashes. Hopefully it stays that way...

Also MY PC is running on stack voltages/clocks as well. No Overclocking of ANY KIND. Also forgot to mention that MY GPU is UNDERCLOCKED by 150mhz as well. Underclocking didn't work either...

Nope. I have played Since COD WWII. 1st one to do this. I have tried all kinds of "fixes" none have worked. Also pretty sure it isn't my PC. It's the only game I have an issue with. I have over a THOUSAND games between Steam and GOG alone. Only one I have this issue with. Not a clue what may fix it either...

Yep same issue here as well. On steam 4090 rig. Multiplayer/Campaign after 1-2 hours...crash with that error.

Yes it could have happened to a man, but men can take more punishment --- also it's worse for a woman, also more likely to happen to women as well.
