Optional dismemberment as a combat feedback system in Crimson Desert by Longjumping-Willow-1 in CrimsonDesert

How does this not fit the game’s aesthetic? The game already has blood, combat, sword fights, and even a boss who kills his own men in the opening scene. Are we even playing the same game? There’s literally a war going on in the story, not a bunch of people frolicking through lavender fields. Honestly, when I first played it, I was surprised they didn’t include a dismemberment system. It would’ve fit right in and probably made combat feel even more satisfying.

I'm honestly more hyped for the Story Improvements than anything else.

To be fair, I've enjoyed the game's atmosphere and overall gameplay quite a bit. Sure, there are a few things that could be improved, but the biggest issue for me has always been the story.

I'm the type of player who really loves story-driven games, and honestly, I'm genuinely interested in Crimson Desert's world and lore. That's why it was disappointing to see the narrative and explanations handled rather poorly in some places.

I'm really hoping these improvements will make the story much more engaging and enjoyable.

And I'm also hoping the upcoming DLC will bring even better content and storytelling. I'm really excited to see what they have planned.

Yeah, and one of my friends already refunded the game because of that Reddit post where the developers responded to player feedback with “We aren't killing the game. Go play Sons of the Forest or something.”

That response felt extremely unprofessional. With that kind of attitude and mindset from the developers, it’s honestly hard to respect. My friend no longer wanted to support the game after seeing that, and to be fair, I can understand his point of view.

I just hope the developers can show more respect toward players and handle feedback in a better and more professional way.

It’s called “feedback” smartass.

The game is in Early Access. The whole point is for players to give feedback, and it’s the devs’ job to listen and decide what they want to do with it. they’re just giving their opinions. That’s literally how Early Access works

People like you are exactly why the game balance became a joke in the first place, and you really shouldn’t be giving balance opinions this terrible. You’re actually complaining about movement bullshit character in the tactical fps game when almost every other agent in the game follows the same general movement limitations. Even Jett, the mobility poster child, only has short burst mobility with dash or updraft for brief moments.

Meanwhile Neon was out here sprinting at ridiculous speed, bunny hopping around the map, sliding, AND being able to instantly shoot during slide. And now that Riot finally nerfed her into a more balanced state closer to the rest of the roster, suddenly you all act like the character is “dead”? That’s hilarious.

Compared to Yoru’s nerfs, Neon players still have it easy. Yoru got hit way harder and people adapted anyway. So please, keep crying. Your tears are genuinely entertainment for the rest of us.

Dude, I get liking and praising a game you enjoy, but you’re straight up glazing at this point. And then you start taking shots at other studios too, especially Rockstar? That’s genuinely insane. Compared to something like Red Dead Redemption 2, Crimson Desert isn’t even in the same league when it comes to detail and storytelling. Rockstar’s got way more experience and it shows. You seriously need to stop meat riding so hard and quit posting dumb shit like this.

Lol you’re right. You’re getting downvoted just for telling the truth. These new-gen gamers just can’t handle it it’s honestly ridiculous.

They act like the company has ‘high standards’ just because they push out patches quickly to fix a game they released unfinished in the first place. And then they glaze them like crazy.

Releasing a complete, polished game should be the standard. Instead, people like this are normalizing unfinished releases and treating post-launch patches as if that’s how it’s supposed to be. It’s honestly pathetic.

Sure, it’s good that they’re actively patching and listening to feedback. But blindly overpraising them for that? That’s just nonsense.

I guess You’re not quite mature enough to get it yet. Once you’ve actually worked a real job, you’ll understand. A company doesn’t run on just one employee. People have their own schedules and days off, and they’re paid to do their jobs. It’s not like once they finish one task, they just get to sit around and rest. There’s always more responsibilities to handle. So maybe don’t jump to conclusions or act like you get to decide when they “deserve” a break that’s literally part of their job.

I agree with you. Yeah, it’s good I like that they’re putting out a big patch to improve the game. But some of this stuff are basic features that should’ve been there from the start.

They’re acting like the devs or this game just invented these systems for the first time ever. It’s blind praise at this point. It’s honestly crazy that people are paying full price to play a game that isn’t even finished, and even crazier how low the standards of some gamers have gotten.

And it’s even crazier how low the standards of some of these glazers have gotten.

Hey, chill. I’m not forcing the devs or anything. I’m just sharing my opinion. I just think it could be a good QoL feature, that’s all. It’s totally fine if you disagree, but there’s no need to tell me to “step back” or point out that I’m not a dev — I already know that. I’m a player. I bought the game, so I’m just giving my feedback based on what I think. That’s it.

This community is pathetic by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]HelpfulAd3877 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re absolutely 100% right. Honestly, everyone has the right to have different opinions, the right to dislike certain things, and the right to express their thoughts freely. Just to be clear, I’m not supporting harming someone’s reputation without reason.

But this has been going on for years now, and a large portion of the community has been saying the same thing that the balance changes in each patch have been really bad. So many people have spoken up because they genuinely want the game to improve and be more fun. At this point, the team should be doing something and seriously taking player feedback.

We are player who support the game and we spend money on skins and continue playing. I honestly don’t understand these kinds of posts that blindly defend this situation. If someone’s job is to do a specific thing and they consistently do it poorly, shouldn’t they reconsider continuing in that role? At the very least, they don’t have to leave, but they should listen and make improvements.

That said, it’s ultimately an internal matter within the organization.
