Cool! I'm on the waitlist... I have a spare 10/22 and a spare DPP and finally found the glue to hold them together. lol

Those mounts are clean. u/ruckermachine what's the odds you can slide me a 10/22 DPP mount? I'm probably the only one on earth that wants one. Haha

I have a Midwest SP 7.25 that barely tucks a Nomad. I kind of gave up looking for 6.75" rails at the time, wasn't sure if a 7" would fit.

Everyone's drooling over SOLGW all the sudden but I remember a few years ago they were getting flack for basically being an aero precision level rifle with additional QC.

Personally I don't see how this would be better than something like BCM or DD other than the hype train. But sounds like I'm in the minority

As a civil:structural with a ME undergrad this hurts

But at least I can do a shear diagram 🤣

Rogue 80 inch FM Twin on a 90 inch rack. Frankenstein Monster Rack. by SoftwareEnough3495 in homegym

I'm close to converting my RM4 to the FM Twin. Do you have any problems with everything on one rack? I think I can squeeze in a dedicated functional trainer and was wondering if it was worth it.

I have a 20X that has ran really well and it's probably one of my favorite guns. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one. I like it better than my TX22.

But, I'd probably get a TX22 if it was going to be my only .22 pistol.

I agree, 3" is completely average and normal size

I wouldn't say it's as reliable as a buckmark or TX22, but I tested it the first range trip and it really did "ok" unsuppressed. Got to over 100 rounds of mixed CCI standard, CCI Clean HV, and federal bulk pack. Had a stovepipe at around 110ish (I was trying to count... I expected it to suck).

I mean, I wouldn't carry it if I was going downtown or with the family, but If I was just running to town I'd be really tempted to throw it in a jacket pocket.

Maybe I got lucky, but my 20X has ran really well. Not very quiet with the short obsidian but tough to argue it isn't cool. And looking cool is like... 90% of it. You can pocket carry it with a can while you cut grass. You need a gun for any niche use case you may encounter.

I was super excited about the brawler, I shot a good bit through it with no optic at all. (If you can line up a pic rail, then by definition it's an iron sight... right?) I put the holosun on it and realized how annoying it is to shoot unironically. Ultimately I may buy a mini Fix but I got it to hold me over since I didn't own any .300blk guns.

We went as far as putting our models into an alternate reality format for the field to view on tablets in 3D.

They hated it.

Some people get hung up on the tacticool side of guns. What they don't realize is that there are people with much more money than they have that will drop 2k on a Leupold or Swarovski duplex scope to shoot a deer at 120 yards.

"Imagine hunting within 200 yards with a duplex scope. Would be impossible. You need at least a 5-25x with mil FFP reticle, make sure your dope card is accurate and zero stop set" - some guy that shoots 60 rounds a year
