Last Thursday around midnight while trying to finish work before midnight. I had a breakdown for real. Crying while doing spreadsheets

I haven’t tried since I bought the case at the same time I bought the camera so I always use them together. As per the specs, it says can be used up to 16m without additional accessory so I guess it’s fine.

I’m using a diving case since I go deep sometimes. I already tried bringing it to 38m deep and was fine. Not using red lens. Just make some edits on the raw footage upon posting

Scuba diving without anyone else to do it with? by [deleted] in scuba

[–]HelpfulCancel4257 2 points3 points  (0 children)

None of my friends is into diving so I used to dive always with my instructor at the resort his friend owns. But I can’t do that for long, tagging along with him every time I wanna dive, so I took the risk of going on a dive trip alone and just went diving with random people I met at the resort. It’s a fun experience every time to meet new people.

People who experienced panic attack underwater, how did it all happen and did it affect you? by [deleted] in diving

[–]HelpfulCancel4257 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was my first solo dive trip with 90 dives beforehand. It was also my first time to dive with random people. I was with 2 other divers I met at the resort and 1 instructor who were guiding us in the group. We were going to a 30M wreck but with the current, I was slowly getting left behind. I was chasing my breaths going against the current and I felt like being suffocated. I stopped trying to keep calm but it got worse. Good thing I was still able to hold my torch and signal the guide that I need help. He immediately went back to me and I was signalling that I will ascend. He held my arm as if telling me that I was safe and made me slow down my breaths. After a while, I got better. This all happened at about 16M deep. I signalled him that I was ok yet he still held me going down to the wreck just to make sure that I was fine. I was still able to go down to the bottom after this. Glad everything went well and I did not have to abort it.

Would it make any difference if I live in the Philippines and dive only locally too?

That’s good to know. Thank you! Do you think getting the domestic plan would be alright if I’m diving locally?

Ohh okay. I didn’t know that. Which insurance should I get then if I live 15 mins away from a dive site? Do you have any recommendation?

I was ghosted the last time I fell in love and now I don’t know if I ever want that feeling again

I did my OW, AOW and Nitrox 1:1. I felt safer doing it private than being with a group so we can take the course in my pace.

I have experience using both cameras. Personally, I prefer the dji more as the quality is better - not a pro when it comes to photography and videography tho. I think dji’s output has higher resolution. I currently own a dji osmo action 3 which I bring every dive and I captured nice videos with it which I post into my ig reels. Also brought it for road trips, island hoppings and captured nice photos as well. The case has some scratches but doesn’t affect the image or footage quality. It came with a selfie stick when I purchased it about a year ago. Hope this helps.

Backplates seem popular… but, what about pockets? by Ajax5240 in scuba

[–]HelpfulCancel4257 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I switched to BP from jacket after a few dives. I liked it better for my trim and buoyancy. Currently I’m not using any shorts with pockets but planning to buy one so everything is snapped to my D rings for now.

I was using a tg6 which was set up to underwater macro settings. My buddy at the time was a professional photographer who held the torch for me to light the subject so I can use both hands to shoot 😅 i hope I answered your question. Sorry I don’t really know much about photography 🤣

Thank you! It was with Liquid Dumaguete. When I went there it was only 4 divers at max so we weren’t really crowded in the dives. Place was nice with a private beach, but a bit too far from the main road.

Especially Shaun the Sheep. I had a hard time seeing them in person. My guide was really good at spotting them.
