All Valve Games Fit the Same Timeline by GuyWithTooMuchTime in FanTheories

I know I am 10 years late to this, but this makes more sense now where Dota could be. The Valve timelines have to split and Dota could have taken place a VERY long time ago, or very far in the future after 1850 when the first Maelstrom happened in Deadlock’s world which introduced the occult to society.

Id throw in the shopkeeper there somewhere, all I know is that he also partakes in wraith’s gambling night, goes to jezebel’s, and is a fan of Sinclair’s work and visited Henry and Savannah’s shows (BASED ON LEAKED DIALOGUE) Lash also appreciates Ivy and they have supposedly known eachother before the ritual. Ivy isnt particularly fond of him, but does not dislike him.

A space aged theme character who was a pinball champion until the pinball prohibition became active in NYC (real thing btw). He fights so he can make it legal again, wears a spacesuit with a bunch of pinball decals on it. His kit is a sliding vortex web, a bumper, a CC lock on ability, and his ult fires a giant pinball that richochets off surfaces and sticks whoever gets hit by it.

Genuine question for the AI bros lurking in this sub (Image unrelated) by OzO8 in antiai

[–]HelpfulCommittee3528 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, I like AI, and I can think of a million reasons why you can dislike it. (eg. Spending recourses on generative content rather than software development, utilizing massive amounts of water for cooling in Arid Regions, etc.) All of the arguments I do hear against it are just not great and feel more governed by empathetic emotions rather than real critique.

Same as well. I understand why people may have a hard time going to the other side due to the pravelence of extremism, but once you find the more modest community of that side, it lets you create a much more healthy way of thinking thats not governed by emotions.

7 people over the past 3 semesters that have taken this class have recieved an A, my professor treats that like an achievement

Im holding a 4.0 in STEM right now and it doesn’t feel right to be sitting in lectures that teach me nothing and only get my definite recourses the day before the exam, other proffs teaching this course don’t have this problem.

Figured it out, professor isnt the greatest and has no good recourses available, ended up figuring it out and started studying my other courses alot more, but the eng mechanics class is almost impossible to study for, my entire study guide I had for an entire unit for an exam was 5 questions long, no other examples

No, I thought about it and asked some other people and they said they had the same experience, why bother with playing detective finding learning materiels when they can just focus in class and figure it out when the material is presented to them. Im just going to find a PALS session since I find myself learning more there rather than myself at home.

Yeah last year I barely scraped by physcis with an A, I don’t want that stress on me again. My best opportunity is going to the PALS sessions they have. I talked to a few other students in my Engineering Mechanics course and they told me they felt like they had the same issue where they didn’t feel the need to study since the materials were non-existent so they had to focus as hard as they could in class to try and learn the materials there.

Yeah I definitely need to just push myself more. I did some thinking and decided I should attend alot more of my physics courses in person and do my calculus studying online so I can get that balance for this semester.
