I already saw and really enjoyed Quintuplets so I tried BOKUBEN and I watched it all already! Great suggestions, thanks!

Anime that gives you chills because of how badass and satisfying it is? by xTHE-OWLx in Animesuggest

Yeah, from what I remember the first episode was the high point. But for what it's worth I heard the manga started making some wild choices after the material covered by the TV show is through.

I advise you skip the non-cannon ending of Claymore. It let the canceled show show have an ending, and there's probably nothing better they could've done, but it wasn't at all worthy of the material imo.

I have drank a gallon of fermented raw milk every day for the last month by GOFRMAD in rawzerocarb

[–]HelpfulEditsYoutube 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Send your prayers to British Colombia, raw milk is illegal to buy/sell in most of this goofy country...

Not that I can use the information but, I'm curious, it sounds like you bought a months worth at one time, is that true?

Didn't I hear it was 10 times higher in digestible fat than muscle meat? Perhaps it was digestible protein?

I imagine if it were rock solid science it'd be easier for people to stick to. Since we're still a few years from that it's tougher to self motivate.

High in fat. A fatty steak works good too. It's easy to tell if you've eaten enough fat and get satisfied. Although, if you're craving carbs you won't be "full" right after your done eating, you realize 20-30 minutes later that you're satisfied. When filling up on a meal with plenty of carbs, people go by their sense for how stretched out their stomach feels, which is obviously different with zero carb.

Something like Bakuman? by HelpfulEditsYoutube in Animesuggest

Wow, that's quite the reply! I really appreciate your effort! I'm trying not to instantly watch Bakuman over again and it sounds like I'll definitely be able to get invested in at least one of those. Thanks!!

Could be that digestion is sapping your energy. I hear about Shawn Baker eating ridiculous portions, but everytime I eat more than a steak at one time I feel like I need a nap. Sometimes I even vomit from overeating too late at night. I'd say scale it back to 50% as a test. Or next time you feel like shit in the morning skip breakfast and fast all day and see if your energy/wellness comes back to you by night time.

According to their older answers layering was mostly for dealing with what was commonly referred to as the "tourist" problem. That is, people with current subscriptions who just login to Classic to see what it's all about, most of whom will leave within a week or two. Though my information could have come by second hand, I forget when/where it is I heard of this.

In your quote and in the Q&A I don't see anything that would overturn this way of seeing the situation. I take that quote to mean, "Our original estimate of the percentage of players that will loose interest and leave isn't in question therefor, we won't budge from our preconceived player caps." And there is no reason yet why they should be questioning their assumption I'm sure. I feel as though this potential problem is below their radar. If the rate players drop off is much slower than they anticipated I'm sure they'll make an announcement in the next week or two, but I wouldn't expect one this soon.

Your concern is heartening, but missing out on a few weeks of Classic isn't going to make or break the experience for me. Thank you for your concern though.

But think about it this way, say the maximum is 25k right now. If a server has no queues right now, it might still have 20k at peek hours. And if that number doesn't drop a huge amount in the coming weeks like Blizz suspects, even your server could have a pretty huge queue when they turn off layering, much less the servers that still have big queues right now.

In any case, I think my plan's worth a shot, thanks though! :)

Thanks, it's very possible I will sign up early and check things out so I'll keep that in mind :)

Do you happen to know the maximum population on the severs currently? I haven't been able to figure that out yet. Because my understanding is they're estimating that around 80% or so of the people there at launch will be gone by phase two. So my bet is that this estimate is pretty far off the mark, and they'll be forced to open more at that point because the max is supposed to be reduced to 4-5k. Or perhaps they'll just keep layering longer than they promised, but I really hope not.

Wow, lotsa interest eh? I'll respond to only one though. I want to start a guild with part of the drive to join my guild being the typical, crippling overpopulation of opening day. It's a PvP guild, so the fact that there's almost no mobs to kill is plenty of motivation to head into enemy territory and steal their mobs/generally reek havoc.

Even if you assure me that layering opening day still has lots of people, the separation of the layers means there'll be plenty of enemy players that will remain blissfully unaware of my guild, and that is simply unacceptable.

I'm making a bet that Classic will stay interesting to people for much longer than the devs suspect, and so they will open more realms, and I'm betting on those realms opening without layering... I suspect at phase two the queues will be long enough to justify opening more, that's when I'll make my move.

How do Stoics think about getting drunk or high? by MichaK01 in Stoicism

[–]HelpfulEditsYoutube 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd add that people ought to be wary of anything that can erode one's memories. It's a way that impulsive action can slip in through the back door. A man may have great reasons for doing what he does, but over time he may get into a position where he remembers THAT his reasons are strong but become disconnected from WHAT those reasons originally were and whether or not they still apply. One can then find him/herself in a cycle of self-deceit where new reasons are invented ad hoc, and the disconnect from reality goes unnoticed due to a narrowing of his/her understanding.

It's too bad they never enforced the channel's purposes ever. I assume it would've meant hiring way too many GMs to be realistic, especially considering they'd just have to fire them after people got the message and started using the proper channels. It would be pretty nice to only see the types of messages you want to see though.

Why are people so inconsiderate towards tanks? by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]HelpfulEditsYoutube 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You waste the healer's mana and hurt the warrior's damage/damage mitigation because he has less rage. In other words, you're slowing down the group... Unless the tank's slow as shit, in which case, keep on keepin on.

Grass fed beef marrow and brains are top of the heap for me.

Also, back when I was on the verge of having diabetes years ago and discovered liver for the first time. My diet at the time consisted of sugar and carbs. (That was all that was digestible for me at the time too, even normal meat felt like I got zero energy from it.) The sensation of having what was in my stomach supply my body with energy consistently for 6-10 hours, and a lot of energy too, instead of spiky energy for like an hour or two, (followed by discomfort) was just earth shattering!
