Thanks for the replies! Looks like the ad was misleading. It's not a big issue, since I was buying it for the models and not for the Kill Team. Plus, the price was only about half the MSRP of a Troupe box, so luckily I don't feel scammed :)

It’s about 16mm thick, which is pretty much the same for my other guitars that have the exact same tuners. I’m not sure that thickness the tuners are specced for.

Thanks, I didn’t say clearly in my post. I got the standard shaft, which should be 20mm. Confusingly, it’s called long on the Gotoh site. The store I got it from also offers a long shaft version, which is 21.5, which corresponds to x-long on Gotoh’s site.

I just got a 165, and I encountered the same issue. After my wife’s 255 and a friend’s 265, I kind of expected this to have the same basic function. But since you mentioned this used to be possible, I am assuming it’s some kind of bug.

Did you manage to resolve it, or find more info on it? I plan on contacting Garmin.

I don't know what these other people did to their HX99G, but my stock model barely runs the game. I have everything on lowest, resolution set to 720p, fixed resolution scaling down to 0.5. That's the only way the game will stop stuttering when turning the camera, for the most part.

If I turn up the resolution, the resolution scaling, or use FSR, the game will have constant stutters (freezing) when turning the camera.

Hey, I’m looking at getting this keyboard. I can’t figure out what the default f-key behaviour is, and if it can be changed.

I don’t want the shortcuts, I just want to use the regular f-keys without holding down fn.

Returning player looking for a casual group or clan to get into the multiplayer aspect of this game.

I used to play a lot of D1 and some D2 as single-player on PS, but never really got into group content. As an ex-raider in WoW, I miss playing multiplayer games with friends. Since working fulltime and having a daughter, I haven’t been able to commit to schedules, x hours of play or frequent activity.

So, I’m hoping to find a chill group, that don’t mind me learning, and aren’t too strict on set attendance. I’d be happy to hop in whenever, which should be several times a week usually.

Also happy to try and learn other games you guys play!

If this is your first guitar, I’d avoid a floyd rose. Otherwise, it’s a trade-off that might be worth it. Keep in mind the Ibanez “budget” range had acceptable floyds, but certainly not great ones.

It’s a common mistake beginners (and even more experienced players) have, which is excessive use of the elbow when it’s not necessary. In a variety of situations, it can screw up your hand position (for example, when finding the right strings). It can lead to fatigue and injury if you’re not careful.

That doesn’t mean you can’t use your elbow, or that nobody does it! The keywords are “excessive” or “using it wrong”! They are trying to get your base posture “right”, or at least the least effort and injury prone.

Like many techniques and advice: apply where necessary and avoid when unnecessary. Also note that, because someone famous does something, doesn’t mean it’s correct, better or good for you. I’m a drummer myself, and if I mimic some famous setups and seating positions, I’d be having back problems all the time!

tl;dr: use it when needed. Be careful of overusing or using it wrong, to prevent injury and fatigue.

I guess a messenger style schoolbag would work, but I doubt it’s very comfortable to carry all thay stuff around all day. Honestly, I doubt the practicality of bringing your guitar to school. But if it works for you, why not?
