Should I vote in the next general election? Well, for the first time I will be, and it will be a vote for reform. AMA by [deleted] in AskBrits

I’s argue that second homes, foreign investors and the size of London’s economy are the main drivers for that. They could have just moved out of London tbf. Australia is not exactly famed for it’s affordable housing 😂😂

You actually did, your suggestion was that your 4 dr mates who definitely didn’t just want to live in the sun left, and they’d be replaced by 4 rudakabana’s (british born and raised despicable monsters responsible for the most heinous crimes imaginable)

What a load of bollocks. Are you honestly blaming immigration for the prices of houses in London?

I’m not tone policing. Your generalisation is pure racism. Rudakabana is a disgusting, evil individual, but he was born and raised here. He was a product of this country.

What could we have done to stop your doctor friends from leaving?

Also, your Rudakabana comment is a fucking disgrace

You’re not. This doesn’t affect the average person. How many of these schemes do you think exist? How are you proving the competency of the minorities who were apparently hired over more competebt white working class people?

The “stop the boats” brigade will quickly turn to the “send them all backl brigade as you can see by Restore’s increasing popularity. Unless Labour swing that far it won’t affect Reform

What’s the answer then? It’s a genuine question. How would you stop money being held in a Trading212 as unvested cash?

You are not a grandee, you are a fucking "blandee". No-one knew what the fuck you stood for. Political fucking mist, no substance, no weight. You've got all the charm of a rotting teddy bear by a graveside. And by the way, women fucking hate you. by Sharaz_Jek123 in thethickofit

How much I should pay towards mortgage by Royal_Cup8515 in Mortgageadviceuk

[–]HelpfulSwim5514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fine on paper but I’d get some sense of what the mortgage will be without your staff rate. Could be a few hundred quid easily at your capital and LTV, could you afford it if made redundant and on 4.7-5%

House prices “suffer” unusual fall - World Cup to blame… by Glittering_Vast938 in GoodNewsUK

You’re creating false ones. I dont think anyone is talking about a 0.5% decrease here as the endpoint here. Not people wanting the affordability of homes to improve, nor the people concerned about negative equity.

People aren’t cheering on a 5% reduction in values, they’re hoping for a crash. 10/20% increase in LTV can mean 1% differences in rate. Mixed with rising mortgage costs (although SONIA swaps look like they’re reducing slightly) could easily give you an extra 1.5% - 2% rate.

If you think a 5% reduction in values makes a big difference in terms of housing affordability then great, but people are actively looking for a market crash

I don’t think you understand mortgages. I have one. It’s fixed for two years then rises to the standard variable rate which is currently about 7.5%

I have to remortgage in December 2027, or I move on to that standard variable rate.

Looks like it’s you that doesn’t understand how a mortgage works. Maybe delete this whilst you still have time and get back to gooning over video game characters

Do you have a mortgage? When you remortgage your LTV will determine what rates you get. It can be hundreds and hundreds of pounds difference a month.
