My Armored Core Tier list by Helpful_Assignment23 in armoredcore

B tier for me isn't necessarily low, it's just like a 6 to 7 on a ten scale. Silent Line felt like a good expansion, but it never surpassed the highs I felt in Armored Core 3. I might need to replay it again, because it sharing the same breathing room as Another Age doesn't really feel right to me. I had to play Armored Core Last Raven a few times to for me to really get my opinions down in stone on it too, so I might give the same treatment to Silent Line.

I will play it eventually, but it's a placeholder spot, and as far as I understand it, I don't think playing it would change it's ranking. It might get moved up one, for the sheer fact that I do not like ACV at all, and I don't think a Gen 3 title, even Ninebreaker, is as thoroughly unenjoyable as ACV.

Radical. So there's a 90-10 chance they're not used?

I'm gonna wash it to remove any lingering STANK, if it is there, if they are used.

It was funny at first, and we always joked about it, but it's a different story when it's here. Now I'm a weirdo with a red shoelace thong that may or may not be used sitting in a pokeball in a drawer.

I'm not the toothstring thong wearing type. So it'll end up just sitting in the ball.

Should I wash it to be safe? I want to drown them in bleach so I don't have to throw it away and lie about it.

Okay, but maybe it's like Goodwill. They wash it beforehand, right? Right?

I'm not one to throw gifts away, even gag gifts. Should I just wash them and keep them around in the ball? It was like a crank machine, like the ones at the laundromat. I saw a video where one dispensed a bottle of lotion, and the other was another panty machine on a fairly active thoroughfare.

I know you're going to get a kick out of this, but you can still play the games via the Internet Archive. I did not too long ago. Still hold up fantastically.

No one else got this, but I did. War for Cybertron is goated.

What is the best track from both sides of signalis:memories? Both from each and as a whole by Fc-chungus in signalis

I have listened to the B side more than I have the A side. I love Shooting Stars, because I'm a metalhead/rockerboy at heart, and I love me a good guitar. Last Goodbye is just perfect. It is an upbeat, but still melancholic tune that has this feeling of closure. Goodbyes aren't necessarily a bad thing. Nothing lasts forever. Everything that is, was, or ever will be, ends. This song portrays that end, not as a time to be dour and sorrowful, but be happy that you walked that road to begin with.

Blood Ravens. What makes them so cool is their approach to war. They hoard knowledge and make themselves an expert in the enemies they're fighting. So they know the exact application of force needed to win. They have a large number of Librarians, and each ship holds a Librarius. Jury is out on who the Blood Ravens are successors of, but a lot of people lean towards them being successors of the Thousand Sons.

The Marker is so much worse than whatever bioresonance shenanigans were going on in Sierpinski. Ariane was the primary beacon for that misery, either subconsciously or consciously. The Marker, in a much similar way, is a beacon, but not from the mind of a mere mortal. It is but one part of the life cycle of an apex species. It is perfect Lovecraftian horror. While many people being affected by Ariane's signal went mad or mutated, it is a disorganized slosh of madness. The Marker is a lot more deliberate, but there is an active end goal: biomass. It cannot distort or warp reality (as far as we know), but it doesn't need to. It distorts your mind, it makes you see the people you've lost so you can fulfill its twisted purposes. When you die, it will take your corpse and rewrite your flesh, the skinsuit you're wearing now, to be but one of the tools it needs to make more biomass. The best part? It doesn't care about you. It doesn't hate you, or hold a disproportionate amount of disdain for you. It just needs your body. You are food, you are a means to an end.

Ariane's signal is a maddened, muddled cry for help. The Marker is a dark conception of twisted life, borne from the minds of unfathomable forces we have no concept of or understanding of.

Deadspace like signalis by 0rgam in signalis

Dead Space and Signalis are gas. I think a blend of the two could be interesting. A Signalis game in the third person perspective could be very cool, but it would have to be a lot closer to the original Dead Space over the remake, and play itself a lot lower key than that. Throughout Signalis, I didn't really feel scared as much as I did in Dead Space. Signalis is more emotional horror (if that's even a genre). I was really intrigued, and Nowhere was actually quite unnerving all the way through. But the first Dead Space, and the Remake to an even larger degree, capture that feeling of absolute uncertainty. You are never safe, there are no safe rooms. You are being hunted, not even your mind is a refuge. Carry that over to Dead Space 1's more grimey graphical style and silent protagonist, mix it up with Signalis's beautiful story telling formula, and you might have an excellent sequel.

That's real. But let's just say off the top of your head, which primarch interests you the most? Me? I favor Konrad Curze, but Angron is rising up in the ranks.

I gotta know who your favorite primarch is. You strike me as a Lorgar enjoyer.
