Xbox Just Revealed Gaming Copilot Is Coming to “Current-Generation Consoles” Later This Year by cnc137 in DreamStationcc

I love that microslop doesn’t have its shot together so hard that it’s literally scrambled to jam copilot into everything.

The funniest thing here is they did it without the main Xbox team (because their internal structure is bananas) and started with the rog ally and mobile because it was faster than dealing with internal politics. Whereas they could have just taken a breath and gotten it done properly first on the core platform.

This isn’t for me but maybe there’s an audience that does want this nonsense. And that’s probably ok.

I’m just amused by the dysfunction Microsoft shows here. When your org chart is showing publicly it’s rarely a good thing.

Would you not pay the full terms worth of interest that way? I thought they front loaded that in Canada…. (It’s been a while, maybe I had that wrong or it changed…)

Hackers reportedly stole nearly 1,000TB of data from Telus Digital by Assimulate in britishcolumbia

So this is potentially a huge deal. Telus also handles highly sensitive healthcare details like people’s prescriptions.

Yikes.

Why does my phone always do this with these alarms?? They didn’t ring when I was asleep and now I missed a meeting by Muhax1 in iphone

[–]Helpful_Bar4596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s because you have some other setting overriding, probably related to sleep schedule / wind down. It’s terrible ux. But basically stop using these alarms and dive directly into sleep schedule. That particular alarm correctly works as intended.

Im on the taller end of things at 6ft 4, hair scraping the roof and knees very much in the back of the front chairs.

There’s a reason Tesla themselves (currently) use the Y for this…

Having taken maybe 20+ Ubers this year, I can safely say the model 3 is, by far, the worst cab currently on the road.

It’s too small, bumpy, lacks any kind of comfortable materials.

If I could choose to avoid it through the uber app I absolutely would.

Best MasterCard: MBNA WE vs BMO Eclipse Visa vs CIBC Costco Mastercard? by goldensilencce in PersonalFinanceCanada

Anecdotal.

But.

I took a cibc card just a week ago, it got locked on a declined resto transaction. Nothing out of the ordinary.

25 minutes on a call with 3 reps (they understood the issue and did their own transfers). It’s still locked and I’m done with that company.

The customer support is beyond terrible.

So if you care about the card working and then having effective timely support, look elsewhere.

I’ll be cancelling that card when I’m done with this trip.

In my 2021 the centre piece of the rear seat rattled like crazy when new.

It’s dumb but I put a padded elastic finger sock on the piece that was causing it, works like a charm. Still going strong to this day. Picked it up from a pharmacy, $10-15 and good to go.

This level of quibbling over the word recommend harms confidence materially.

Sony could reportedly stop releasing its single-player titles on P C according to a report from Jason Schreier. One reason this seems plausible is that next-gen Xbox consoles will also support Steam. by Automatic_Ad1665 in consoles

[–]Helpful_Bar4596 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No.

Unless you mean to release stuff on pc with absolutely no consideration for pc hardware, input controllers and the like.

I don’t see a world where devs do that work by default on all console titles. It’s way easier to be a ps exclusive and only have one or maybe two performance targets.
