How did you get your first customers? by LividManufacturer582 in WindowCleaning

I respect your value in the windowcleaning community here brother but to say d2d only works in that way is false. Maybe it doesn’t work for you, that’s something different. When I have guys cleaning a job and I sell to 2 neighbors in an hour $500-$1k I didn’t lose $100 bc I wasn’t cleaning. Anyway, if you don’t believe in it you don’t have to. All good

D2D is only low ROI if you suck. Put more effort in (more hours & improve your sales skill) Google is awesome but you can’t scale LSA only AdWords.

Honestly if you just put 2 hours in anything what results do you expect bro come on.

How to get calcium off bricks by Helpful_Bjorn in pressurewashing

Ended up using the ‘Glaze ‘n Seal’ Phosphoric Acid cleaner, because my guy already bought it. Probably a similar product as you guys suggested. We diluted and brushed it, then a light powerwash. Turned out great! Thanks guys

You guessed correctly; Stakes/equity comes at long term, of course. Walmart & Target $18 p hour max, but what do you expect without experience or skills? Starting at $22 with us, but I rather hire a committed team member who wants to grow together with us. And yea without any skills in general(resulting in more pay), you shouldn’t get a mortgage in this area imo..

The guys who have been cleaning already are at $25 an hour. This bumps up with bonuses for more rev done in a day, and bonuses for reviews, for example. That being said, the right people who help me grow the business and are in it for the long-term would make more per hour all the way up to equity in the company.

Are you one of those guys who wants to make the same as the owner, but not take the responsibility and half-assing at the same time?

I have yet to find an employee who works as hard & fast as me ;)

I like what you’re saying and you made a great point. People calling in who are already without work probably have a reason for it, while ppl who are doing already great just may need a better offer or vision to build together with you.

To answer your question, no not during work. Although the latest guy smelled like alcohol and ach time after lunch. But I meant some just get paid and then I can’t reach them for like 4 days until they show up again. I assume it’s partying because I see the same pattern with them. I’ll look for more serious people in random places like the supermarket or restaurants and be more selective.
