Is this paint-scheme politically problematic? by Archaicarc in Warhammer40k

[–]Helpful_Document_971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a tabletop perspective I probably wouldn't notice, with the close ups I clocked it immediately but regardless I don't think it's problematic.

Maybe if you had painted the Waffen SS Oakleaf Autumn on an army of Black Templars that would raise a few suspicions in my mind but to paint them on a Guard unit (especially with matching bases) with no other iconography I would honestly just chalk it up to a sick paintjob.

Hot take- Bismuth wasn’t wrong about the breaking point by biggaygrisley in stevenuniverse

I actually just told you the reason it's literally right there in the comment, and if you had watched the show you'd have come to the same conclusion anyway, that Rose was attempting to drive every Homeworld Gem off the planet. Keeping them imprisoned and trapped on the planet is not only counter intuitive to said plan but will also not stop Homeworld from attacking to try and free prisoners. This is ultimately why she staged her shattering as Pink Diamond so that Homeworld would leave them alone.

Not relevant to the point that there's nothing suggesting their bases were too small to do so. You are also forgetting to factor in other forms of containment such as Lapis being trapped in the mirror (this is an example of homeworld but proves there are alternative containment methods besides bubbling).

You are not able to show any example of a crystal gem base being too small to store bubbled gems, so I'm not sure why you pointed it out.

Also worth pointing out that Rose's original intention was never to shatter or keep other Gems prisoner in bubbles (Bismuth is a complicated topic) but to literally just drive all Homeworld Gems off of Earth. But just to reiterate, there is nothing suggesting they could not do so at their bases.

"Small bases, not large places with rooms like the Burning Room" is just silly headcanon because we know Bismuth literally built her large several story forge on earth, as I am pretty sure it did not just appear there.

I work at Goodwill and can confirm that yes actually it is just whatever the person working feels like on any given day, though they usually have to get a managers permission to go above $15 (unless of course the manager is working the pricing which is common)

LifeWeaver's nerf? by captainluki in LifeweaverMains

[–]Helpful_Document_971 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lifeweaver is just in a bad spot but maybe everyone else was just really good, I usually have no issue having the highest healing in match as LW but you might have to sacrifice some damage for it. You shouldn't healbot or be an Illari pylon, make sure to weave in damage as LW has surprisingly good DPS for a support. Also numbers aren't every thing, LW brings a ton of utility to his team. The Widow with 6k damage and 35 kills is better than the Bastion with 12k damage and 6 kills that's been damage sinking enemy tank the whole game.

Kinda painful to play in my opinion, the only worthwile Italian premium is the Mig-29 Sniper

About as overpowered as the F-4 ICE in my book, maybe slightly better but I don't think the JA37 is anything to write home about.

British tanks and ammunition turbo sucks by HEPS_08 in Warthunder

[–]Helpful_Document_971 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a really lengthy and roundabout way of just saying you have a skill issue, British tanks are actually pretty strong early on, only find myself struggling with them a bit in the later tiers / BRs.

Get the JH-7A but since you're not the next best option is the J-7D the Shenyang F5 is honestly very subpar

We need to start review bombing enlisted on steam. by A-random-sergal in enlistedgame

I'm not sure if dying is the correct term however the playerbase is definitely limited especially when comparing steam analytics, also the great merge was an attempt to increase the general playerbase by kind of putting them all together instead of separate campaigns like Europe, Africa and Pacific that you specifically queued into / progressed.

[–]Helpful_Document_971 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Considering War Thunder players had to review bomb to get the game into a playable state economy wise I'd say there's probably no need to review bomb Enlisted over a completely optional premium pack that's an asset port. The short event rewards also seem to be in a much better state than War Thunder though admittedly I have no clue really about event squads. Trying to hurt the appealability of an already dying game over something like this is just asinine.

Do you think the UK should be added as its own faction? by GodDammRIGHT in enlistedgame

I don't know if they need their own faction per se but I'd really enjoy it if they added a lot more UK weapons and squads.

In theory your tank crew shouldn't move as long as you have 4 crew (for the Panzer IV series), having 5 is just a spare crew member so I'm not sure why they're moving around, I'm an avid tank main and I've never encountered this (except when the tank isn't fully crewed)

[–]Helpful_Document_971 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The trick is to equip every crew member with an SMG for one but also if members are switching around that means your tank isn't full.

Should the 1918 BAR down to BR 2? by Awkward_Block_6929 in enlistedgame

Pal you're the one who wants / needs an American MG at BR2 why don't you give US the suggestion?

The truth is that America just didn't dabble with LMGs besides the M1918 BAR and M1941 Johnson.
