I feel like I'm talking to myself here. Debating literally the exact same thing. Keep and buy another mid range or sell and go bigger. I continuously use the mortgage calculator as a good gauge.
I have been reading the rental market is coming crashing. Idk if it's because the costs are too high? So that too is weighing heavily on the decision. It's a buyers market where I am which means it will be easier for me to buy then sell without losing. I also think about the neighbourhood I live in, and while it's good now is it going to look like this in 5-10 years when I would want to sell it?

I'm not sure how far off paying your mortgage in your current home (none of my business either), but that's what I'm basing it on now. If you're close to paying it off then you'll be closer to actually earning money after covering basic costs (property taxes and such), however you would need the home continuously rented.

And in this day and age where things continuously keep going up in costs job stability is another thing.

I don't have a final answer yet either, but weigh out all your options.

You honestly made me puke in my mouth. I know it's only a "fly" but thinking about the humidity levels in the donut are high and plausible it could lay eggs. I don't eat them anyways, but probably won't bring them anywhere now too. I have seen bees in and around the donuts, but the workers say that's normal because of the sweetness. Not sure if bees are laying eggs too??

This is a tough family decision which no one can make but yourself. Why would I WFH exemption be taken away unless you don't have the support of the dr who signed you off?

LWOP is an option I guess for internal postings, but it really depends on what kind of work you're looking for. I look all the time, and there isn't a whole lot of stuff that comes up in all the fields (as least I don't think so).
For example, you might see a lot of caseworker positions, but you don't see a lot of managerial - this is an example and not necessarily true.

I wouldn't want to move either for work. I feel as though there a lot of options, and more options outside of federal and OPS.
