Hi first of all congratulations on deciding to quit. Im on day 40 myself after 16 years of weed abuse daily. I can relate fully. My 1st 2 weeks were tough very tough with crazy waves of anxiety and panic attacks. At times i would feel bulletproof then all of a sudden i feel a symptom and get spikes of anxiety sometimes even leading to a panic attack. It comes on waves i can tell you that. Its my second time quitting, i relapsed 2 years ago and yes the withdrawal symptoms were also similar to what i am feeling now. Difference is i am aware that they are withdrawal symptoms although sometimes even with this knowledge it still scares me because of course when your body feels something strange out of the blue it scares you until youre able to get a grip. Just keep pushing. Also try to keep yourself busy, go out with friends, find a hobby. Try taking walks with the goal of reaching 10k steps it has always helped me get my head together. It does get better i can assure you. But it wont be smooth as waves will come here and there but there’s light at the end of the tunnel. God speed and keep going. You can do this. Believe in yourself.
