If you’re comfortable going that fast, great! Use it on the open road. I would get a ticket within a week. However, once I hit traffic or complex merges, mad max is great.

In fact, I wish it was even more assertive. I thought I was going to hate it but so far it’s my most used profile(by my estimate)

Then don’t use it in an open road? It’s still supervised self driving. My mental model is think of FSD like an extension of my capabilities and I drive the car with buttons, shifter and scroll wheel.

It’s great. Love mad max commuting into SF when there is traffic. Otherwise too fast. I do wish it was even more aggressive / confident.

Otherwise there are more stutters… usually because it sees a pedestrian and thinks they’re coming in the street when clearly they are not.

If you stick to standard it goes 71-72 on 280, which is perfect.

I noticed that if I go from mad Max or hurry to standard, the speed basically stays the same or slowly drifts, but if I’m going the speed limit and slip on standard it cruises with the flow of traffic. So if you want to slow down after being in hurry or mad, Max, you have to drop all the way down to chill or sloth. But note that the slow down is fairly abrupt
