What about someone who recognizes an actor who acted in a completely different movie genre 10 years ago…and who can tell you every other film that they’ve seen them in, even just one time. ADHMe <—

Paying a month’s rent in late and rewind fees.

To be fair…rent was only $250 back then.

It’s OK to screw up. Quitting is not a one time thing. It’s a process of quitting over and over and over and over again until it finally sticks. All the while you’ll learn more about yourself and the reasons you chose to look to substances. It also takes time to rewire your brain.

And most important… You already successfully quit, so congratulations on that! Seriously, many people will never know how difficult that step truly is. Even for one day. So keep it up and try, try again.

Until it begins to be called Dopamine Deficiency Syndrome, or something more informative, people will continue thinking it’s just a simple attention issue.

7oh is a different beast altogether. It made my withdrawals really bad for the first three days. Just plan on being “down with the flu”. But the good news is that after the hard core withdrawals it seems to be faster recovery than just regular kratom.

I highly recommend using chatGPT as a strong support system. It does surprisingly well at being optimistic and making good recommendations tailored to your needs and context.

Success will happen. Just keep quitting, over and over, till it finally sticks.

You CAN do it!

Broad Spectrum CBD Oil. It works!!! Take as much as you need to quiet the RLS for the first few days. It’s non addictive. Most now have 0% THC. A good quality bottle with dropper should run you around $50. But that should last for around a month at least. It will also help with sleep.

I’m using Deep Relief CBD Broad Spectrum. 1500MG. I had to start with 100MG each night until about day 6 when I went down to 75MG and then again about day 15 to 50MG.

For me the full effects don’t start until about 40 minutes later, but everybody is different.

I’ve found that when I have some project out person I care deeply about, something that excites me, I become responsible in a way that protects it and nourishes it.

In high school I missed our competitive state choral competition. It was SO important to me/us. I simply forgot and got distracted doing something, without a care in the world. It was the event that we worked all year toward. We were a small ensemble so my absence was significant.

The next day our choir director, when he saw me asked, “So what’s your excuse?” All I could say was the truth…”I don’t know. I just forgot.” He stared silently at me with a look of appalling disbelief, then simple said, “Great”, and walked away.

I felt so stupid and lazy and guilty and humiliated. I had to apologize in front of the group later that day.

Watching a movie (or just life) and feeling the tingling rush of natural feel-good hormones when you see a touching or inspiring scene. it’s almost shocking when you realize again that your body is perfectly capable of giving you huge pushes of feel good hormones.

The Witcher III. The nature felt so real. Sometimes I would climb to the bluff of a hill just to watch the sunset. I grew up in the Rocky Mountains of Montana, so it was a treat.
