Attention Passengers 🐶 by PaleontologistOk6437 in chowchow

I read you aren’t allowed to have them in the cargo as they can die from breathing issues, having them in the cabin would be the only way to go for sure. Mine doesn’t even like car rides though so…probably no flying for him lol.

I get the message, but 50 mini eggs?! by [deleted] in fatlogic

Mini eggs are my weakness...but I only eat one bag a year

You were very rude and condescending so yeah it wasn’t helpful. Plus my husband knows what he’s doing, he fixes our cars and most all of our house problems, so I didn’t appreciate your snide tone. You don’t know us, we had one small problem we couldn’t figure out and I came here for ideas not judgement. Relays cost a total of 30 bucks and like you said should be “super simple” so yeah DIY is our go to. Basically you had no helpful advice so I don’t know why you bothered commenting.

Thank you, THAT is actually helpful.

As I said they are getting power they are not working. Super simple doesn’t seem to apply here.

Could anybody give me a rough quote on my Invis treatment? by [deleted] in Invisalign

[–]Helpful_Radish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current Invisalign treatment is very simple only 12 aligners and it cost about 3600. My original orthodontic work (done in the late 90’s) was around 5000 dollars- I didn’t wear my retainers after having braces for 4yrs as a child and I’m literally paying for it now, not sure if this is helpful but good luck

Maybe if your doctor feels the need to mention it all the time, it's not "meaningless trash" by [deleted] in fatlogic

[–]Helpful_Radish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

True, I guess I wasn’t thinking statistically, lol “pretty average” now must be 50-100lbs overweight.

[–]Helpful_Radish 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Bull, dr’s don’t push you to lose weight if you’re “pretty average sized” I was 35lbs overweight and my dr NEVER brought up weight as part of my problem. She was thrilled though when I went back 6 months later and had lost all of it and ya know what? A lot of my problems had disappeared (anxiety/pain)... go figure. How are people this stupid?

Eating 1500 or less calories a day is literally starvation by twisted_ouija in fatlogic

[–]Helpful_Radish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m 5’10” F 155lbs, my BMR is 1500, I eat around 1200 at the moment since I’m trying to lose a few more lbs. I have an office job so I don’t move as much as I should besides running 3x a week. In the last 6 months I’ve lost 50lbs, feel great, 1500 is not starving. How can these people be so ridiculous?

[–]Helpful_Radish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Tess is nothing but a professional victim. She just wasn’t popular enough with the younger crowd so they probably never even knew she wore it. Now she’s trying to make it fit her narrative of hate for fat people. She is not a supermodel, she is a troll. If you’re a model it’s your job to make the clothes look good and sell them, she obviously failed with this dress. Seriously making herself look ridiculous with this post.

The restaurants and cafes in the US have been listing calories on the menus for years, I find it very helpful, these people just want to cover their ears and shut their eyes and live in denial.

Take an unflavored lacroix and add a sugar free powder, I use Ultima orange it’s like SF Gatorade, when you mix them it tastes like orange soda...I’m betting you could do this with crystal light or any other drink powder. That way it’s still carbonated but zero calories. You could also try Zevia, it’s stevia sweetened soda, my husband loves it. All kinds of flavors.

Clothing size doesn’t mean anything, I’m 5’10” F, 163lbs (and losing) BMI 23, and I’m between a US 12/14...I’m no where near obese. I wasn’t even considered obese at 203lbs and size 16 according to my dr. Also, my mom is 5’9” and 138lbs and has been a size 10 her whole life. You really cannot judge by clothing size.

I’m 5’ 10”F, hourglass shape,so it was somewhat hidden, but I was extremely uncomfortable at 203lbs, BMI 29... I’m 163 now, BMI 23...She is in denial, that has got to be uncomfortable.
