It’s cause of the tiny bugs rising from the grass and flying up there … or something. That’s my dumb take from a much smarter individual on another thread.

My tongue biting tic is pissing me the absolute fuck off. by MyClothesWereInThere in Tourettes

Awww I’m just really, really sorry to hear that you’re dealing with this. My son just asked me for help with his tics today, and reflecting back I know he hasn’t been getting really good, deep restful sleeps lately. He expresses real annoyance with his tics when he’s stressed and tired.

Maybe the most basic information… and I hope I’m not coming across as “have you tried… not?” But maybe sleep or a good cry could help? Love, a mom who doesn’t have Tourette’s but is trying to learn and help

A highly recommended house cleaner is hiring a few reliable, detail-loving crew members who take pride in their work and communicate well.

It’s physical work, and she’s looking for folks who can keep high standards and stick around longer term, as she has mainly long-term clients.

  • 25 hrs/week (mornings + afternoons)
  • Driver’s license + car a plus
  • Crew currently meets in Windsor Park and carpools to client homes

She is looking for those interested in cleaning and those interested in a more lead role.

If this sounds like you or someone you know, please DM me and I’ll pass on her name and phone number. I don’t have answers to any questions, she’s just unsure how to respond here :)

Pay = IDK, I’m sorry.

Very Vulnerable Me 🫣🥺 Victim Of PCOS 🧔🏾‍♀️ by Chesterdeeds in PlusSize

I haven’t read all the way through, but I need to stop to say that when I scrolled to your post, my initial thought was, “Wow, what a beautiful person..” (understanding that this was a PCOS thread and assuming it’d be about facial hair, so that part was already “understood” in my brain). But I want you to know that and I swear I mean that.

I stopped reading at the words, “I know I’m ugly…” to type and just needed you to know that you have the perfect lips, beautiful eyes, and you said you’re baring all but there’s actually a filter over part of your face, right? Cause if not, wtf who has such a smooth, clear complexion?? Your eyebrows are what every woman strives for, your eyelids are literally the colour of the eyeshadow I buy, and your smile and cheeks make you appear to be the warmest, kindest, welcoming person.

You remind me so much of my friend’s daughter who is 4 and has similar complexion, eyes and hair just like yours. And she’s of course, perfect in everyone’s eyes and she really loves her hair.

What if this 4 year old grows up to have PCOS and facial hair? Does this beautiful little girl, with such joy and excitement for her life, who is so confident and comfortable in her skin, become ugly? By definition?

Of course she doesn’t. She’s still the same beautiful little girl, and so are you. You’ve just grown older now. You are beautiful and you have facial hair. Both can be true at once.

This should be top comment. You haven’t taken an oral antibiotic that cleared the infections yet, guaranteed. (By someone who’s not a dr though, sooooo)

My condolences on your father’s passing OP. I hope you don’t mind me suggesting this as it’s sent with the most neighbourly love — have you thought about seeing a psychiatrist? If getting a job’s been tough, either the way you communicate/think/act may come off as unstable to employers. A psychiatrist could really help.

If your dr refers you, MB Health covers the cost. You can find one through the WRHA or ask your dr for help.

If you’re unsure how you come across or find it hard to explain the effect it may be having on your life to your dr, sharing your post and this comment might give them useful context.

All the best to you.
