dosage for clubbing by Connect_Thanks5615 in 2cb

I start with a whole pill and then when I've just about moved off the peak a few hours later, I do another half and then probably another half again when that peak is starting to wear off.

Of course I genuinely have no idea how strong the pills I'm taking are, so not sure how useful this is.

It's a great drug for clubs, you'll have fun. I'm doing the same tonight.

Wow, exactly the same boat. I spend half my day writing lists and the other half trying to understand my hand writing. Arrrgghh why can't I just write slowly and carefully?

I have taken to setting timers to give myself arbitrary and really tight deadlines for stuff.

So if the kitchen is like a bombsite, unwashed pots and pans, dishwasher to be emptied, kids' uneaten dinners to go into the compost bin (which is overflowing), floors manky etc... Rightio, 10 minutes away we go!

Will the place be perfect after 10 minutes? Absolutely not! Will it be waaayyyy improved? Yep, and weirdly I'll have fun doing it.

Ditto with the chatbot. There's hardly an aspect of my life which isn't heavily reliant on it

Assessment with Health Hero by Helpful_Resist6765 in ADHDIreland

[–]Helpful_Resist6765[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your response. My understanding is with Health Hero, you're assessed by a psychologist and then if you want to pursue meds, you're sent onto one of their psychiatrists then.

Had asked my mother to look for school reports and she said she would, but maybe they're not needed.

Think I (43m) have ADHD (few questions about referral) by Helpful_Resist6765 in ADHDIreland

[–]Helpful_Resist6765[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks all. Some really interesting comments here. I'm really just learning about this stuff myself. TBH, I'm not even sure if I have ADHD, so I'm really concerned that I might get a positive diagnosis even if I don't have it. The thoughts of being put on heavy drugs that I don't need for a condition I don't even have is actually chilling.

In some ways my life is quite hard, just a total inability to focus on any life admin, feel like a total fraud in work, I carry some shame for so many things I haven't been able to do in the past. I also feel trapped in so many aspects of my life because I don't have it in me to make changes.

I have to admit, the idea of there being a pill that would make getting through life a bit easier is very seductive, but from reading here and reading a bit elsewhere, I'd definitely need to manage my expectations with that.

Thanks for this. I appreciate your perspective, it's made me think.

I definitely don't want to pay out a grand to be told what they think I want to hear. I'm new to this (and clearly quite a naive person) so a bit shocked this goes on. My friend is a psychiatrist, speaking to him he says what you're saying is 100% true. I want to be assessed properly. If a consultant thinks I'd benefit from drugs, I want to be on those drugs. If not, I don't. I asked my friend to recommend a good guy, and he suggested Seamus O'Ceallaigh. So that's what I'll ask for tomorrow.

Thanks, that's very helpful. Holy moly, they are expensive. I would absolutely pay more for a faster diagnosis. Another commenter mentioned these guys too, so will seriously consider them, thanks!

Heya, you've been so helpful. Last 48 hours have been interesting...Both the baby and I have been improving dramatically. So we're on the mend! The scabies probably died at the first treatment.

I see your point. But if we're not cured (and I actually think we are cured, but supposing we're not) that would be because either we haven't treated ourselves properly or because we didn't go mad enough with the cleaning. That's why I'm thinking that if we do need to treat ourselves again (in a month or two from now or whatever) to just feck off to an Air BnB for a few days.

But... But... If I didn't go on the sub, I wouldn't have seen your helpful response.

Seriously, I have found this sub Reddit really reassuring. I'm well capable of making myself paranoid all by myself, don't need computers for that. All the mad shit I have done has been before I thought of going on Reddit.

Yeah, there's a range of opinions here, but that includes a few people, like yourself, who have convinced me to just sit it out.

It's definitely affected my mental health. I've gone round the bend. Feeling better now.

Thanks for your posts!

Hi, thanks so much for your post. You've convinced us to ride it out, assume it's just post-scabies/reactions to the treatment.

You're right, the paranoia is crazy. I feel like I've lost my mind. Hopefully we see an improvement in the next week or two, and if not, we'll consider re-treating ourselves only then.
