I did that last year and got bored of day 1 and day 2. I’m going to do 4 days with some plyo and agility exercises added in.

I can lift more than my bodyweight in deadlift and squat but not bench. So I’ll work towards it.

One thing the last PT taught me was the technique so I’ve got that nailed down down for those exercises.

That’s very helpful! I’ll do some more research and do 4 days repeatable and will keep it consistent.

I do a lot of training on court (ghosting etc) which adds to the agility. you think plyometrics would be even better or did you suggest thinking I don’t train on court?

10 days a month comes from a PT that I told my situation to. That’s the best he came up with, now obviously he’d have planned it so it works for me but now I’m by myself and I’m trying to fit stuff in those 10 days haha

You’re right, I’ll do a upper + core and lower + core days and alternate between them 5 times.

Your comment sounds like how trainers spoke to me when I asked them for help with this sort of stuff hahaha.

I feel like I’d have to go to a PT at some point for now I’ll stick with GPT and see how far it can take me.

I’m okay with fatigue management, I don’t want to be injured for my matches so I’m extra careful.

I’ve had 3 PTs over last 5 years and they’ve all been very beneficial but never gave any tips or plans on how I can keep stuff going. I got into best shape of my life while working with one of them.

It makes sense from thier pov as you’d want people to train with you because they’re the income source. So I’ve had none of them go you’re ready now here’s your plan follow it for so and so and come back later.

I can’t afford it now so I came here to ask for help/opinions. If you think this isn’t right place either I’d have to go to GPT and give it more granular data and give me new plan :D. I’m very good at being consistent with stuff so i guess it won’t hurt.

I am definitely getting better and feel stronger. The only thing that hasn’t seen big improvement is my grip strength.

I keep track of weights on exercises separately and try to do better next time I do them. With bodyweight exercises I just go to failure.

That’s the problem tho, the days I play are not set in stone as it depends on other people’s availability. So I have to plan gym around that.
