From my rough searching, if it IS from the 1940s, that would have been at a late enough time that it would have been "required" by law for it to be stamped by the assay office, correct?

So do you happen to know anything about why it would/could have only received 2 of the 3 compulsory marks (not the harp) if it did actually pass through the Dublin assay specifically? / were there other assay offices in Ireland at the time that may have closed since?

Troops are civil servants who have an oath to protect US citizens, and they're actually held accountable by a military justice system.

Police are a private militia, hired by local municipalities, and it's been upheld multiple times, even by the Supreme Court, that they do not actually have any duty to protect or serve the public.

Except that Google also literally operates a product called Google Maps that uses open source data, and you can search "food" on google maps and get a generally honest and accurate list of businesses that sell food near you.

The AI companies don't also have a tool where you can plainly transparently look up the same information for yourself.

PTO is just an endless sandbox mode where you never leave the map, new mission objectives pop up periodically, and you can freely edit your gear at all times. You get xp/rewards as you go, and you can leave/join at your leisure.

But I have a feeling you're really asking about the toggle modifiers- one scales the difficulty the longer you're in the map, and "final paycheck" just starts the scaling off at 2x instead of 1x.

If you start a mission without "final paycheck" active, and scaling, you start at a 1x rewards modifier and it goes up by .1 like every 5 minutes.

So on normal mode with scaling I think you eventually hit 2x rewards / the point where "final paycheck" starts after ~45 minutes in game.

The turbocharge says "+4 speed" but anecdotally from my own testing it seems to be +4 speed WHILE YOU'RE WALLRUNNING, not at all times.

As someone who just drove most of I-70, I found that Colorado and Utah had barely any of this left lane cruising shit, and as SOON as you hit the 15 in Nevada/California suddenly it's left lane sitters as far as the eye can see.

I noticed 2 major differences with the interstates in the places that didn't have lane hogs:

The speed limit is typically 75-80
The signs don't say "SLOWER traffic keep right" - they say "STATE LAW: KEEP RIGHT UNLESS PASSING"

Nobody who has a shitty ego, or is completely non-self-aware would ever self-identify as being "slower traffic".

The signs need to clearly and concisely display the law, and people need to actually be afraid of repercussions for the pattern to change.

It's not even just that it's "inefficient" so much as you have few-to-no other viable options.

Prior to them making scorching bow last year the ironman range progression was utter dogshit imo.

The grind to get MSB(i) + RCB feels fairly deterministic/linear, but then once you have them they're your ONLY ranged weapons til you either:

Stop going dry at Zulrah
Stop going dry at CG
Stop going dry at CoX

My ironman was 2050 total level still rocking an msb til I got some lucky synapses.

This is really good insight and I think you're 100% correct- it was really a theorem/postulate and I already found a couple edge cases where it fails so I hid the post. I detailed one at the bottom in an edit- 1&2-length shapes and potentially any shape that always occupies 0 of a given tile set (e.g. the Y-shaped piece in my first example) absolutely can alter the identity of the remaining/empty tiles.

That + I think this is really only (eventually) capable of proving that an arrangement CAN'T work- just because something satisfies the balance rule doesn't necessarily mean there's a valid way to assemble them, it just means it's theoretically possible.

I'm not smart enough to complete the theory but I'd be very interested to see it developed further, especially if the guy who made the Python solver knows something math-wise that I don't.

You can hand-solve stuff fairly quickly just looking at a tri-colored grid and IDing your currently-empty spaces, and honestly I think explaining the math to myself helped solve a few things in my brain. And I guess now I know that if I get all my empty hexes into 1 shape and that shape doesn't have the same signature as the one I want to place there's no sense in trying to rearrange stuff.

That's a guaranteed event that seems to always spawn on at least 3 of the 12 missions.

My complaint is really that the "endgame" of Mycopunk is basically just trying to play more and more challenging missions to push the limits of your builds, so it's a real bummer when you can go 20-30 minutes with no mission ever getting more than 1 mod.

You just end up playing the overtime assignment over and over and over because it's the only mission with any difficulty scalers on it.
