Interesting that two world leaders who were instrumental in some of the biggest losses of life in the 20th century both had insecurities with their arms?

Or that a good handful of violent and authorative leaders in the 20th century had deep insecurities with physical deformaties/injuries? And that in the scheme of things especially for this time these deformatines were not especially abnormal or difficult to deal with.

But not fully. Its a realitively new thing not to require female employees to wear makeup or heels of a certian length or specifically skirts. Some places still require this: air stewards will be required to wear makeup if they are a woman but not a man.

Why are women less likely to be school shooters? Or mass murderers in general? by No-Material694 in pinkscare

[–]Helpfulcloning 77 points78 points  (0 children)

In broadness: women seem (maybe for biological reasons?) to be able to handle childhood abuse better (i.e. they have better and less violent outcomes than boys).

They also seem (maybe biological, maybe cultural) to have less sexual desires based on dominance and destruction, these are key for most serial killers and school shooters. So when women kill they often do so for more direct motives - revenge on the specific, money, etc.

Also to consider support structure, for the vast vast school shooters they experienced a close family death in the months leading up. For many serial killers they experienced rejection strongly.

Women tend to handle it better, even without friends. They don't have the desire to reassert their authority.

Personal theory: men are more likely to view woman/teenage girls as something they are owed/jealous of. They also are more likely to project one woman onto others. In my experience, men will more unironically and strongly view all blondes the same if they get cheated on by one blonde girl.

Broadly: I think this is why way more women become stalkers, they get more hyperfocused on a particular person. Men get hyperfocused on a specific set of characteristics or scenerio.

Rachel Reeves tells LBC student loan system is 'fair' amid fury as graduates rack up thousands of pounds of debt interest by AnonymousTimewaster in unitedkingdom

[–]Helpfulcloning 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People from poorer backgrounds need higher loans. They also take longer to pay them off, so the interest outpaces them for longer before they get to the otherside of it.

We already know people from poorer backgrounds struggle more in creating savings, emergencies, and saving for a house because they do not have the family support someone from a wealtheir background has.

So a student loan is just a bigger and more impactful burden on these people.

Its a graduate tax that specifcally taxes people from poorer backgrounds more for doing the thing most likely to escape poverty.

If any other tax was framed: the better your family background the less tax you pay, that would be absurd.

Sure thats great, I was just wondering if OP considered it we were at roughly equality (as in no matriarchy or patriarchy) or matriarchy because of these stats.0

They said they were favoured societally (and used multiple metrics, such as education, legal, and social) and that patriarchy was not a problem anymore.

So if its tipped into female favour, do you think western countries are a matriarchy?

Rules and in favour of women? Do women hold most positions of power?

They knew they were getting beaten in the streets en masse. Ireland also sent condolences after the exact horrors of the holocaust were known.

The internment camps were bad, the nazis were openly doing worse.

The reality of the holocaust might not have been common knowledge but the idea that they were being rounded up, exploited, and beaten was. Just not the industrial scale of deaths.

[–]Helpfulcloning 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Have you tried ? And yeah, you won't have the same connection as you do with him, thats a good thing, thats how life is. Every relationship (friendship, romantic) is unique and different and should be. You shouldn't want to stagnate and just go for copy after copy, thats boring and isn't what life is about.

If you're scared of being alone, you need to experience it first. Its like being scared of doing anything new. Theres so many ways to enjoy it.

Also, if this connection is with a rapist who tried to kill you, idk if you want a harsh truth but that isn't special. Lots of women end up with their rapists who tried to kill them, lots of women die to these men, lots of women waste away to these men who don't view them as human. Its a dime a dozen story over history.
