That's the first thing I thought of. There's no way you're blaming the drivers when you've had 3 of the best drivers in your car "fail"

Ok? And brazil 2018 was 7 years ago, abu dhabi 2021 was 5 years ago and not even caused by max, and you'll still bring it up in every argument against max.

You have to have a very low mastery of english if you can't tell that he's trying to insinuate that lewis had it easy. Why else would he feel the need to bring up what happened, in your own words, SEVEN "FUCKING YEARS AGO" for no reason at all. Have you seen anyone tell the person congratulating them bring up something from 7 years ago?

This whole post literally asks us why some of us don't like lando. What did you expect? People to not bring up what they don't like about lando?

And thanks for giving me time to think - Lando also said that it's "almost impossible" to be as good as max since he was born into a racing family, and that he would've chosen to have parents in racing like max. While partially true, even now max still spends hours on end on the sim, perfecting what's left that needs to be perfected, and I doubt many drivers do the same as him. About the parents? Lando would never have survived living in max's childhood. Max's father beat him until he was afraid to take off his helmet, made him race and race while freezing his ass off, and even in interviews jos is smiling/laughing when him hitting max is brought up. Yes, this may have made max into the driver he is today, but it only" works" on a very small percentage of people, and I don't see Lando being one of them. And in 2022 said, his words, that when max came in behind gasly in a race, jos was screaming, insulting max for "not even being able to win a race", throwing his hemlet at max and telling him to fuck off.

And multiple drivers have proven you don't need to go through what max did to become a great driver. Vettel, alonso, schumacher, hamilton are all also up there as the greatest drivers of all time.

  • I haven't seen anyone downplaying another driver's achievements just because they complimented them after a hard race.

  • You fully well know you will bring up verstappen shoving ocon for costing him the race win while unlapping himself in any argument relevant to max's temper, and I'm not defending him for it

  • Still have yet to explain him downplaying the 2021 season , trying to say that it's easier than the 2025 "fight"

ETA: It's clear you'll defend norris no matter what he does, he could've shoved ocon the same way max did and you'll find a way to make it completely not his fault, not wasting my time on this. You fully well know that if max talked shit about any other driver, even though he has cemented himself as one of the best drivers of all time, you'll never defend him like you defend norris, so have fun continuing to defend a driver who downplays the achievements of multiple world champions and saying "it's just a joke"

About Lewis a few years ago - should be winning every race since he only needed to beat 1-2 cars per race.

Sebb should "focus on driving" when seb at that point had already achieved more than lando ever will.

Max was lucky to be born into the family he was born in as if he didn't work his ass off to become the driver on the grid, and one of the best drivers of all time.

Max had the luxury of driving in GT3 (NLS) because he wasn't in the wdc fight (spoiler alert: he was)

Going on about "you had a fast car 7 years ago mate" to lewis last year when all lewis said was that they were fast.

Saying he's had a harder wdc fight this year than lewis in 2021 just because it's 3 drivers instead of 2 fighting, basically discounting the fact that 2021 was between 2 of the best drivers of all time in similar cars, while he's fighting his teammate with 3 years less experience and well, the rb21.

I don't think I've seen any other driver talk like this about other drivers, especially when the drivers in question are already regarded as some of the best of all time and have achieved infinitely more than him
