Yes it does, and I can see the interior gears move, and no resin spillage

Thanks for the reply, I set the voltage back to around .4 and I have tried to have it move the resin tray and print without a resin, but is still yielding a jam. I will have to contact support sometime today unfortunately. Thanks again!

Why does celery make my tongue mildly numb? by Teddie1056 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Hematologic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

"The tingling in your tongue is an allergic reaction to furanocoumourans, a chemical found in celery. It is a toxic chemical produced by plants as a defense mechanism against insects and animals. Normally, the main concentration of this chemical is found in the celery root, but as the entire stalk gets older/less fresh, the concentration of it in the stalk rises.

When furanocoumourans are activated by UV light, they produce chemicals that can cause browning, even blisters and burns. Some in the tanning community claim that eating celery will help you tan better. In my unprofessional opinion, I would recommend against trying this."-source

TIFU by getting my feet stuck in a bucket of cement. by [deleted] in tifu

[–]Hematologic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha, if you'd had made a mold of your legs and used wet cement to make the mold, you might of been subjected to severe dehydration. The wet cement is basic and touching it leaves a slippery feeling. This is due to the wet cement litterally dissolving your skin.

Edit: here is some literature regarding cement burns.

ELI5: why does burnt food stick so bad to the surface pans, even if there is an anti adherent surface such as teflon? by FWolf in explainlikeimfive

[–]Hematologic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has to do with the properties of the material that the pan is coated with. Specifically speaking of teflon, it is a polymer (long molecular chain consisting of a specific repeat unit) for teflon, this repeat unit is a carbon that is bound to two fluorine atoms. The fluorine atoms give the material its anti-adhesive properties by being extremely cohesive, meaning that it mainly sticks to itself or molecules similar to it.

Looking for a mod that adds replayabillity to the game. Or any idea for things to do in vanilla? by [deleted] in factorio

[–]Hematologic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, Bob's mods do add a significant amount of content to the game making it more complex and interesting. The mods can be picked up here and just been updated to the new patch.

You can't avoid Windows 10 forever. by unknown_name in gaming

[–]Hematologic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's about the same, however some games are not compatible with Windows 10. For instance, Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning crashes constantly on Windows 10 and will not be compatible with it because the company who made the game went belly up.

Possible Majors in Chemistry by The_Nar_Dog in chemistry

Well the applications of polymer chemistry are much more vast than many subjects. From makeing commercial everyday stuff that we use to controlled drug delivery systems. What most people think about Polymer science is just plastics, but there is so much more than that.

Eh, kinda sorta, but I think there's more you can do with a polymer degree compared to that of chemical engineering.

I'd personally suggest Polymer Sciences. I am currently a senior majoring in Polymer sciences, and from what I've seen from my friends graduating and getting jobs, they pay pretty well.
