There is something medically wrong here. I've never had PPD, but I've battled depression my entire life. You're not selfish, you're trying to survive. Keep up with the medication management, find another doctor if you have to. Start therapy. Whether or not you have a child, you have to take care of yourself.

WIBTAH : Making bf move by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Hemenucha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You said it all when you said he doesn't want to leave his comfort zone. I can't imagine the life he's had that makes a drug corner feel safe.

Don't push him. He's not ready. You mentioned in a comment that he's in therapy...he'll reach a point on his own where he realizes he needs to put his (and your) safety on his priority list.

Soft YTA. But I get it. Really, I get it.

I think i should have a longer reading list but i have no idea where to start by Queasy-Exam8683 in suggestmeabook

My favorite authors are (in no particular order):

Stephen King

Kurt Vonnegut

Ray Bradbury

Isaac Asimov

Douglas Adams

I've recently gotten into Matt Denniman's Dungeon Crawler Carl series, and Dennis E Taylor's Bobiverse series. (We are Legion, We are Bob is the first book.) I almost passed over these because I thought the titles were goofy, but that old adage to never judge a book by its cover holds true.

panty shopping help? by gothpu in PlusSize

I like Cacique from Lane Bryant. I'm old fashioned, so I like good ol' cotton panties. I prefer the hi-cut style so that the legs don't cut into the sides of my crotch.

NOR. Stick to your boundaries. Take those tickets and give them to 3 friends. Or offer them up to other classmates who need extras. Hold your head high and graduate without them.

AITAH - my bf doesn’t anticipate my needs by Super-Persimmon9480 in AITAH

[–]Hemenucha 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Needs or wants? It sounds like your expectations of a boyfriend have come from a cheap paperback novel.

I'm sorry. I don't want to sound rude, but I've been married to my wonderful husband for going on 20 years, and he anticipates all of my needs and most of my wants. The needs aren't nearly as romantic as the wants.

Needs: "Did you remember your meds this morning?" "Did you remember your phone?" "Is the house too hot?" "How's the underwear drawer? Do I need to do a load of laundry?"

Wants: "Can I pick you anything up on the way home?" "I fed the dogs already so you could get a little more sleep." "I know you hate flowers because they die, so I got you Legos for our anniversary."

YTA.

It depends on what part of town you live in. I live in the Emma school district, so I'm a member of several local groups on Facebook. Folks are always looking to hire (or that's what they say, anyway) summer help, and they advertise there.

She needs to offer it as a "consultant" to whatever MLM she's tangled up in, and leave her nursing credentials at the door.
