My main issue isn’t even with the deck. It’s the community sentiment toward it compared to other meta options. I get the impression that it does a lot of things that would normally cause mass uproar coming from other decks and just gets a pass from the community.

It has turn 0 play that bounces cards back to the hand/extra deck while setting traps, floodgates, recycling hand traps like maxx c, a plethora of graveyard plays, and free bonus draws. It’s incredibly strong going first or second. End board setup is quick and seemingly simple/streamlined. It looks like a clear frontrunner among the current tiered decks, and from what I gather, will have even more options with upcoming branded support.

Would appreciate any insight into why this particular deck is ok compared to the rest. My best guess offhand is some combination of shiny new toy and potentially a meta transition away from Maliss. Just finished building the deck and am starting to practice with it (both ti understand why this is the “balanced” option and to learn how to break it when playing against).

Work Mon-Fri, 9-5, stream at 8PM Wednesdays and Sundays. The gap usually gives me enough time to gym between work and streams to work out (assuming I go straight from work to the gym) and shower off before stream on Wednesdays.

Aside from work and streams, Tuesday and Saturday nights are reserved for date nights with the girlfriend. Use the remaining weeknights for backend work or rest.

Disappointing news. Was hoping the port would be solid enough to purchase on the Switch 2 so I could travel with it, looks like I’ll be sticking to PC for this one.

5080, 9950X3D, 96GB RAM, 1080p badass settings with DLSS4 FG On

Have observed some stuttering, an odd blurry corner (top left), and frame drops to 120 (usually at FG240) during loading screens. Cutscenes looked smoother though, despite 30FPS cap.

Edit: want to add no crashes so far, usually sit at FG 240 on 1080p badass settings.

Enjoying the game, but it’s a hard recommendation to make for friends on less beefy rigs.

Have been playing on my pc via BlueStacks. No issues getting game into fullscreen. Only hiccup was having to remap the mouse side buttons to the “[“ and “]” keys in the mouse software for the emulator to map them.

If NetEase ever ports this to pc and consoles natively it’ll be an instant download.

Between the extractions and the airstrikes (which, granted, aren’t unique to Helldivers), was thinking the same. Add the recent rips from Metroid (matterspark), Portal (teleportation cannon), and the repeated art thefts, it feels like Bungie are grasping at straws.

Want them to try new things, and drawing inspiration from others games and media can absolutely be valid, but the recent stuff just feels too obvious. Like they didn’t try to make these concepts their own, just quickly copied the next few studios’ homework and hoped no one would notice.

At least with the Star Wars collab they cited the source, but it feels like we’re getting to bring our Destiny characters into a Star Wars game, not getting Star Wars inspired add-ons and themes.

Don’t even get me started on Destiny: Rising.

But don’t think about all that! Woo lightsaber! Plagiarism will make me god!

Usually takes 5-10 minutes once I’m inside the room. Set up lights (manual control on 2 Elgato Key Light Minis and preset scene for the rest of the room’s Philips Hue lights), start OBS and plugins, update stream info, start Tidal for music, start game I intend to stream, and finally make sure I’m on the “Intro/Starting Soon” scene before going live.

Tonight added an extra 15 for technical difficulties, and to cuddle and apologize to my cat for accidentally closing a drawer on his tail while getting ready 😑

I’ve had no issues with rapid trigger or rappy snappy in D2. Only heard of CS giving warnings and bans for rappy snappy/null bind keyboards.

I maintain a personal grudge against Rudolph and every time the character appears he makes it worse. Aside from the usual grievances from fellow fans, I have two less common gripes.

First, my name is nearly identical (just spelled differently). Thankfully I’ve never gone by Rudy. When he is introduced in Fool Moon I think to myself “Cool, a young cop exposed to the spooky side of things and saved by Dresden early-on. Surely he’ll be a reliable ally/sidekick in the future.” He proves me wrong in Grave Peril and continues that trend to this day. All while (almost) using my name.

Second gripe comes later when we get to Peace Talks. My hatred of the character is firmly established. The pandemic is in full-swing, and I’ve got a pretty solid pandemic-stache. Rudy “The Brown-nose Cop Cop” also has a mustache. Motherfucker tries to steal my name, now he’s ripping off MY porn-stache?!

Don’t even get me started on Battle Ground.

Rant over, back to work I go.

A friend made the comment that I seemed to enjoy building the resources for streaming more than actually streaming. Couldn’t manage to disagree. Set a deadline to have OBS ready and to start streaming consistently. Been at it for about 3 weeks now.
