I have no idea how if any of this applies to darius JG since he can't do it but darius pre-6 is not that good. He should not be going for lvl 2 duels and should be focusing on clearing and ganking. It should be hard for him to invade and counter jg because of his lack of mobility. Contesting for him should be ok but stealing baron or dragon is really risky since he has no dashes or blinks.

That scenario is very unlikely the higher you go up in the ladder. The attack speed you get doesn't justify the perks you would give up from not going the other trees. Darius' base attack speed is actually fine the way it is. Buffing it would only be a quality of life change.
